Lavender walked into the school, observing everything around her. Every plant she never saw before she of course avoided before she made her way into the giant, grand school. She saw many rooms, but she was drawn to the observatory and laboratory. After walking around for a couple brief minutes, she went outside and waited on a bench as other kids she never knew walked in. She tried to determine where they would be from. She herself was from the Marsh, and dressed expecting the same type of weather. It wasn't very helpful since she was going to be in snow, not much rain.

Venus didn't know why she had to be chosen, and whisked away so deeply into the tundra. However, she was used to the cold weather, as the mountains can get chilly. As she lugged her suitcases into the school, she was greeted by a welcoming warmth coming from the nearby heaters.

Lucia stepped into the school, staring blankly around herself at the other people around her. She kept her hands in the pockets of her sweater, looking at the different people. She made a few guesses about where the plants around her came from (but one looked dead; she decided it probably needed to be watered). She roamed around for a bit, eventually finding her way back outside as she waited for the crowds to disperse.

Although feeling overwhelmed, she only blankly said a quick "Cool." before trying to find her dorm. Then she would try to make some friends before classes started on Monday.

Lavender got up from her seat and made her way to her dorm. It had many plants hanging on the walls, and even a nice big skylight covered by more plants to give the illusion of light shining from above trees, just like at home. "Wow...this school really has a big budget..." she thought as she set down her things and started to unpack more black long leggings, dark green boots, and raincoats almost exactly like each other into her drawers. She didn't prepare much for the cold tundra, but her raincoats were relatively warm. And if it really got too cold she had a coat with the same pattern as her raincoat tucked away under the rest of her things.

Venus carefully navigated through the halls until she found her number imprinted in a small gold plaque on a door with a keyhole and a tiny looking hole. Opening the door with her key, she discovered a humble dorm, with a desk and wheelie chair, black carpeting, a single bed, closet, and regular white walls. One thing that stood out to Venus was the huge windows, which mostly just had shown the parking lot, shadowed by the almost always present clouds covering up the sun.

Lucia shivered, deciding it was time to go in. She trudged inside, finding her way to her dorm before digging the key out of her pocket and unlocking the door. She stepped inside, shutting the door behind her. It was a basic sort of dorm, white walls (She decided she needed to either paint those over or get lots of pictures to hang over it, because just no), a bed pushed into the corner, and a desk. She sat down at the desk and yawned, standing up again and starting to unpack.

Venus sighed as she started to unpack. Since her windows only gave the view of the parking lot, she could hear the cars, sirens, and chattering teens entering the building to escape the early September frost bite. Venus found the cars and road rage oddly peaceful she started to unpack. The many suitcases and bags she brought were filled to the brim.

Lucia unzipped her backpack, pulling out different items and setting them on the desk for future use. She hummed, turning back to her suitcases and unzipping them as well, eyeing the clothes and other items in them. She sighed, starting the long and painful process of unpacking and organizing.

Venus put on some music as she started to unpack her things, she knew it would take a while.

Lucia dug her books out of her suitcase, they had their own bag. They deserved it, books were great. She plopped them on the desk and returned to the suitcases behind her.

Venus checked the time as she hung her silver clock on the wall. "Ugh, at least I'm almost done unpacking." Venus sighed, eyeing her text books. She hated reading. She liked to write better than read.
