"What do you know? You're just a fusion that calls herself a 'protector of Earth'." Topaz slowly started walked away. The pain in her head hurt like hell now. She didn't want to be seen as weak, she'll have take care of her gem later, once she's away from this fusion.

Redstone was still sleeping.

Meanwhile, there were more ships coming to Earth. They were simple vessel ships though.

Turquoise stared after her. She didn't think the Topaz was okay. She had a plan. She was going to get Steven and bring him here. She launched herself into the air. She began to fly towards the Temple. As she was flying, she noticed that many ships lined the beach. She would have to be careful.

Topaz watched the fusion fly away. Finally. She hoped she wouldn't come back. She jumped back into the ship, looking for anything to use as a mirror. She first reached to touch it. It was definitely worse than before. At first sight she didn't see anything that would help her. She sighed, jumping down from the ship exit and started walking away from it. She could use water. The Earth was covered in water, right? That would help. She started reaching for some water.

Meanwhile, the ships were approaching the Earth's atmosphere. But something bad happened.
A comet has hit one of them, and now one was falling in direction of Beach City.

Turquoise quickly ducked into the Temple, and looked for Steven. She found him looking scared against a wall. "Oh, Steven, what are you scared about? Nothing's here. Anyway, I need you to come with me. You can ride on my back." She said quickly.

Steven quickly hopped onto the fusion's back, even without knowing that it was Lapis and Ulexite fused.

Turquoise took off, holding onto Steven's feet tightly. She could feel Steven's hands holding on to her shoulders. She flew steadily, not afraid of the extra weight. After a while, she landed back where the crashed ship was. She sat on the same tree branch, and slowly let Steven down onto the branch as well.

Topaz heard someone landing on a branch. She hoped it wasn't that fusion again. She started walking faster, away from the ship. The tried not to make much sound. She looked back to see if anyone was following her. Luckily, no one was here, yet. She prepared her ribbons as the wrapped around her arms but some parts of it were torn. This was another side affect of her gem being cracked.

Watermelon Tourmaline had followed the fusion all the way from the Temple, since she was still camouflaged. She had lost the fusion in the forest, but found a crashed ship instead. She spotted a Gem walking quickly away from the ship. Since she was camouflaged, she had no problem catching up to the Gem. She just started to follow this Gem, still having no problems since she was camouflaged.

"Steven, follow the Gem. We- I mean, I, tried talking to her, but she wouldn't hear us out. I think you have a better chance of getting her to listen, and trying to get her to join the Crystal Gems." Turquoise whispered.

Steven nodded. "I'll do what I can." He whispered. He carefully climbed down the tree, and stood safely on the ground. As soon as he was safe on the ground, Turquoise flew off. He began to walk towards where the Gem went.

Topaz noticed someone was following her. Maybe even more than one person. She sighed, the pain in her head feeling as if someone is stabbing her but she didn't stop. In fact, she started running. She had no idea where, just anywhere. She extended the ribbons once again, the extra length flapping by her sides. She was planning on throwing the ribbons onto a branch so she could jump and travel faster.

Watermelon Tourmaline was starting to feel the effects of being cracked. A feeling like being stabbed in the head shot through her head. She winced, but stayed determined and continued after this Gem. She was still camouflaged, and she was trying to run after her.

Steven was running after the Gem. He was hoping that the chase wouldn't last much longer, because he was already starting to lose his breath.

Topaz threw both of her ribbons near a firm branch. She jumped up, trying to land on the branch. She succeeded surprisingly, landed on the branch a bit unstably but she gained her balance before she could fall off. She looked down to see who was following her, at the same time retracting her ribbons back to her gem, hiding the evidence of her gem being shattered.

Steven could see where the Gem went, and directed his eyes to her. "Are you okay? Do you need help?" He asked calmly, walking to the area below the branch.

Watermelon Tourmaline, still camouflaged, climbed up the tree and onto the branch that the Gem was on. She summoned her weapon, which was camouflaged along with her, and she gently poked the Gem in front of her with it, trying to make her fall.

"WE'RE FALLING OFF!" A Peridot yelled inside the vessel that was falling down to the Earth.

The quartzes besides her were also freaking out, except for a few.

"There's nothing you have to worry about," Topaz turned her eyes to her chest, where she was poked. She brushed the area, thinking it was just something like a bug or a rock. She looked back at the human below, sitting down on the branch, her legs swinging lightly. She smirked slightly, trying to read the human's mind even though her own mind hurt.

"Are you sure?" Steven asked. He thought that it seemed that this Gem was hiding something. He wondered what it was.

Watermelon Tourmaline, still camouflaged, shoved the Gem as hard as she could off of the branch. She watched what would happen.

Topaz nodded just before she was bushed by some sort of force. She tried to grab onto something while falling. She grabbed a branch but didn't hold onto it for long, however it gave her a safer landing. She landed on her feet. She looked up to see what pushed her while unconsciously touching her gem, checking if it got worse.

"Nothing you should worry about," Topaz quickly moved her hand back by her side. She didn't find anything that pushed her. She turned her attention back to Steven, trying to read his mind once again. She tried to keep a straight face but twitched every half a minute or so.
