Forum-Index → Roleplay → Soulmates (Real Rp)''you danced well enough, oh, by the way my name is Alicia, Alicia sage'' she said.

''heh, you definitely are a funny one.... also i'm guessing you were looking for your soulmate, since you were looking through the crowd'' he said, leading her through the crowd and onto the dance floor.
Adam put his hand on her waist and brought her close as he held her hand.
''i'm still looking for mine as well.... but like a quote from a book the writer Lao Tzu wrote, "Love is of all passions the strongest, for it attacks simultaneously the head, the heart and the senses".... so whenever i meet my soulmate, i'll know the feeling, cause it'd also be a surprise'' he said.
(don't quote me on that about the book thing, i've never read the books before so... i just simply got the quote off a game on my phone)
"... My name is James. What's yours?" He asked, wanting to put a name to the face he was already beginning to love.
Corrie smiled, her eyes twinkling as she danced with Troye. It was funny, she felt like she could trust him despite the both of them having just met a few minutes ago. Strange... She had never felt this way before, and she was almost dreading the moment the dance would end.
"Looking for your sister?" Corrie asked when she saw him looking around the crowd, remembering the child who had been with Troye when he made his speech.
Troye shook his head. "She's probably fine. She's much tougher than most. I was just looking at how nice it was to see everyone having a good time." He said. He looked back at Corrie. "What about you? Are you enjoying the gala now that you've had a dance?" Troye asked. Dancing with Corrie seemed different than when he had danced with other girls. But he just couldn't put his finger on how it was different.
Corrie briefly wondered how it must feel to have a younger sibling. She wondered if James was once like Troye, although the likelihood of that was slim. Remembering James, she turned her head slightly to find her brother. He was sitting on a bench, holding hands with another boy.
Oliver smiled. "Oliver. Oliver Carson Hymun. Uhm...wanna play like... 21 questions?" He asked, picking a random game that would help them get to know each other. He smiled. "God dang.... I'm your soulmate." He whispered under his breath, still trying to grasp the concept of this bein his soulmate.
"What's your favorite food? Mine is pasta." He asked Oliver, deciding to do the same as his soulmate and answer his own question. The point to this game was to get to know each other better after all.
"Okay... Do you have any pets? If so, what kind?" He asked, placing his tiny hands into his lap. "I have a ferret, a kitten, and a guinea pig. The ferret's name is Maria, the kitten's is Marquis, and the guinea pig is John." He said, smiling. He loved animals a lot. And he totally didn't name them after historical musical characters.
"Do you have any siblings? I have a younger sister named Corrie. She's there." James pointed to where his sister was still dancing with the eldest Benton son, and they weren't showing any signs of stopping anytime soon.
''there are quotes that aren't even in books, sure they are mentioned in books, but they come from actual people like Abraham Lincoln or Nikola Tesla'' he said.
Mavet giggled as she was twirled. This was fun. She looped her arms around his shoulders once more. "Nerdy quotes in general." She quipped, laughing a bit. Yeah, she was probably tipsy. She glanced at her wrist by his head. She almost gasped. It was blank. She had met her soulmate. But who...? Was it this stranger she was dancing with?
''being nerdy isn't a bad thing you know, heh... truthfully some quote's are really sweet, others are just goofy like one from a tv show'' he said.
Adam chuckled quietly and smile, his gaze softening a little.
''you know, your quite beautiful, if no one has ever told you yet'' he said.
Lise smiled. "Well, you really are good at it. And it's nice to meet you too!" She said, absolutely beaming. When she heard the part about her brother, she chuckled. "I have a brother too. Well, I have a couple actually.." She said, rolling her eyes at the thought of them.
"What's your favorite movie? I like La La land." James admitted. He remembered being teased by Corrie for liking the movie, but truthfully the movie was great and he didn't regret watching it. Not one bit.
Corrie was also silent as Troye and her danced. Usually she'd talk to fill the silence, but with Troye it was different. The silence was comfortable, not akward like normal. She wondered why. What was so different about him?
All too soon the music came to an end, and by extension, the dance. Corrie felt a pang of disappointment when she had to stop dancing with Troye.
Oliver smiled at his question answer. He shifted, and blinked at James' question. "Oh. I don't have a favorite, I love movies. Maybe... Sing or The Corpse Bride." He hummed in response, smiling. "Movies are great." He murmured, curling his toes. "Uhm, what's your favorite book or genre? Mine is probably Everything, Everything and Romance. But fantasy and fiction in general is awesome." He said, crossing his ankles again.
Mavet nodded. She was kind of a nerd herself. Her cheeks flushed at the compliment, and shook her head. "The only people who have ever said that are my parents and my roommate Oliver." She admitted, smiling. "But thank you, hun. That's really sweet." She purred, swaying to the music a bit more.
''thank you, and i'd love to meet your family sometime, get to know your family'' she said.

Adam made her twirl once more and dipped her, giving a small smirk.
''so, who's the best dancer now gorgeous....?'' he asked, flirting a bit to see her blush some more.
"What's your favorite song genre? Mine is Classic or Country." James said, giving a small smile.
Oliver nodded. "I love alternative and pop. Oooh, edgyyyy." He purred, doing little jazz hands. "Anyway, Uhm, what's your favorite weather type?" He asked, tilting his head. His red hair fell to the side a bit as he did so. "Mine is sunny and warm. I love the heat." He hummed, brushing hair from his eyes.
