Soulmates (Real Rp)
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Soulmates (Real Rp)''what kinda song do you want to listen too.....?'' she asked.
she wanted to let her pick the song since she already listened to one.
Corrie looked at the Benton's eldest son, who had just greeted her. Her first thought was "wow, I can't believe I'm meeting you," but she didn't voice it. Instead she replied with a breezy "Hello! The Gala has been a bit boring so far, but I think it's more because I have had no one to dance with." As she had just received her writing some time ago, she hadn't memorized it like most people.
The teen then decided to refill her glass. While doing so, she unknowingly revealed her wrist, and by extension, the writing present on it, to Troye. She wasn't paying attention to it, and therefore she did not realize it was beginning to fade away.
Ignoring the glares she received from many jealous girls, Corrie nodded and took Troye's hand, allowing herself be lead to the dance floor. Maybe she could have fun...
Troye smiled and gracefully led Corrie to the center of the dance floor. The dance couldn't start without him, so he motioned to the musicians and they began to play once more. He took one of Corrie's hands and used his other to place hers on his shoulder and then placed his own on her waist. He smiled and they started to dance. His every step was graceful, except for an occasional misstep here and there. He had been forced to attend dance with his sister for ages, and he learned a bit. Of course, he was never that good at it.
''s-sure, then afterward's we listen to music'' she said, giggling a little.
she was finally more relaxed and calm, ready to enjoy herself for the rest of the gala and with her soulmate Lise.
Then, because she was Corrie and she somewhat disliked silence, she spoke. "So what's your name? I know you're the one this gala is celebrating, but I don't know your name yet. Mine's Corrie by the way."
(Guys please wait for Glove, they aren't online yet)
"Ah." James said when he noticed the dance had started up, and almost everyone was now out on the dance floor. From his spot he could see Corrie dancing with the Benton's eldest son. His brotherly instincts flared up. It still felt strange to him, seeing his little sister dance with someone like that.
Forcing the feeling down, James turned to Oliver. Corrie could take care of herself, and it wasn't like he could ignore the other boy for his sister. Giving a rather shy smile, James offered his soulmate a hand, blushing. "... Would you like to dance with me?"
Lise giggled and took Alicia's hand. She gently led her to the dance floor, but she had no clue what to do. She watched everyone else for a minute before attempting to join in herself, and not doing a totally terrible job at it. She had never waltzed before, besides the few botched attempts with Troye or his sister. This was kind of fun.
Troye looked at her and smiled. "Oh, I suppose I forgot to say. I am terribly sorry, it's just that most people seem to know. Anyway, my name is Troye. Troye Benton." He said. He tried to make the dancing a bit easier for Corrie, even though he wasn't perfect himself. Troye glanced over and saw Lise, and his eyes twinkled. She had found someone.
Oliver smiled up at James, and glanced around. They were still basically in the middle of the crowd. He looked at some onlookers, some cooing at the sight of the very embarassed pair. Oliver flushed. He must look so stupid with this handsome man. He cough, rubbing the back of his neck. "Uhm, do you wanna get out of the crowd? Like, to the seating area maybe...?" He asked softly, taking James' hand. He gave a sweet smile.
Mavet glanced at Adam again, looking at him for a moment. His words sent a shiver down her spine. But she laughed softly. "You're not one to talk, darling." She quipped, looking him up and down slowly. She looked back up into his eyes, giving a wink. "But... You seem like you could make this gala a bit more fun." She flirted, swaying her hips.
James gently pulled Oliver along, leading him to a bench some ways off, away from curious eyes. The other boy's hand felt warm in his own.
Corrie giggled, flushing with embarrassment. "I'm sorry I didn't know your name Troye." She allowed herself to be lead by him, making it easier for the both of them. At least she wasn't tripping over her own two feet that often anymore.
Out of the corner of her eye Corrie saw James holding someone's hand, and she grinned. Her brother seemed to have found someone, which was a relief. He really needed to socialize more.
He sat down on the bench, looking up at James. He set his free hand in his lap and his other in James' grip. He smiled at the ground, a giddy feeling building in his stomach. He let out a laugh, soft and sweet. He was so happy. His heart pounded and he just laughed a bit, not too loud but just enough to give a glimpse of all of his happiness.
The teen's heart beat fast when his soulmate let out a sweet, almost giddy laugh. Oliver looked so... Happy. It mirrored how James felt at that moment perfectly. He didn't laugh, but he did let out a soft, almost unnoticable chuckle. At that moment, the teen felt content.
''how about i lead, at the dance at my school a couple year's back my brother came and danced with me, since no one seemed to want to dance with me.... so i get how the dance work's'' she said.

he raised an eyebrow and grinned a bit, chuckling quietly.
''hey, would you like to dance then cutie? the dance is starting up'' he said, offering his hand to her.
Lise nodded and blushed. "That would be nice. I couldn't dance well for the life of me." She said with a chuckle. She felt a little bad about ditching Troye, but she saw him a little later dancing with someone else, and he seemed to be fine. Besides, she didn't want to miss out on her first dance with her new soulmate.
Mavet smirked. "Of course, darling. But watch out, I've been told I'm a great dancer." She winked again. Standing, she took the male's hand. She had yet to notice the writing on her wrist completely faded. She gave him a sweet smiled.
