Riko didn't think about it too much. She wanted to perform in a Pokemon Showcase but for some reason, she felt more attracted to the power and strength of her pokemon. She didn't mind it as she could change her mind anytime she wanted.

"Heather, Vine Whip!" Riko commanded. Heather did exactly what she asked and whipped the tree, breaking bits of bark off the tree. She stopped commanding her pokemon soon when she saw a trainer, hungry for battle. That's what Riko gave the trainer, a battle.



The battle was terrifying. The trainer's pokemon were way higher than her's and wiped out her whole team with one pokemon. Heather was the last one to be sent out, and it was horrifying. Riko watched as her starter's body went flying and hit the trees. Tears formed in her eyes as her starter fell and stopped moving. The only movement she saw was the breathing lungs still active. She abandoned the trainer, ignoring to give them the money.



She rushed to the Pokecenter, ignoring the other trainers in line. "Please, help my Snivy," Riko begged, holding Heather in her arms. Nurse Joy quickly took Heather and sent her into one of the operation rooms. Now all she had to do was wait, thinking about what she saw when Heather was thrown constantly.

"What?! How? There's a Snorla- there's another way, there's another way..." He said. "Alright, I'll try to get there." He texted. He went up to the snorlax. "Slippy, Tackle with all you've got!" It hit, and the snorlax woke up. He defeated it. Looking at his map...

"OH COME ON!" He yelled, as there were 3 Routes in his way.

Riko looked at the floor, fumbling with her thumbs. It kept playing back, over and over. Unaware until she realized it, she was crying. She had never been without Heather until now. Who would she depend on so much in battle? Who would make her feel accompanied even without her friends? Her mind was filled with questions. I'm going to loose my mind if I don't talk soon, Riko thought and took out her Holocaster.

Venus watched as Riko rushed passed them and to the Pokecenter."Was that Riko?Nah it couldn't have been.She decided to eat at the poke center."She mumbled to herself while shaking her head.She continued on to the cafe with the small group she was currently with.

Venus felt her Holo Caster vibrate in her pocket.She pulled it out and answered.What she saw made her worry."Ri what's wrong?"she asked handing Mizu back to Benny and turning around to go back to the Pokecenter.

"E-Everything," Riko stuttered, managing to get it out. She lowered her Holo Caster to take a deep breath before speaking any further. "Everything went wrong," she spoke this time without a single stutter.

Riko got the text from Hawk and observed it for a second before ignoring it. There was no use telling him yet.

"I'm on my way."Venus said before hanging up and rushing off to the Pokecenter not knowing Shadow was also following.She made it there in record time.She flung the door open and walked in looking around for Riko.Once she found her she made her way over to her."Ri.What happened?"She asked softly kneeling down and wiping the tears away with her hoodie sleeve.

With Venus in front of her, she felt more accompanied. "I got in a pokemon battle with a high-leveled trainer," Riko said, stuttering less than she was before. Her face wasn't as droopy as it was before, but the one she made now was giving an aggressive aura. "The trainer hurt Heather," she continued, "along with my other pokemon but Heather was badly injured." Riko was angry and gripped her Holo Caster with great strength, possibly able to break it.

"She's being healed by Nurse Joy right now. I'm happy about that but that trainer," Riko cut herself off. I hope that trainer gets lost in the forest, Riko thought, finishing it off in her head.

"Hey. Parisa had a rough night. But, I caught a little Eevee!" Autumn mused. The Eevee bolted under the seat, not wanting to be seen. Autumn pet her gently.

(Autumn Recap: She has a Petilil (Partner), Eevee, Fennikan (Soon to be Braixen), Spritzee, (catching one more pokemon before she is done with party filling.)

"I hope she can do it," Riko smiled slightly. She moved her head to look at Shadow, who was someone she has never seen before. "Who are you?" Riko asked, not bothering to even speak politely.
