The Metagross took the hit, and it hurt, but simply went around the
Gallade rather than fight back. His objective was to destroy the
building. He didn't need to do anything else.
The Metagross resisted the hit, but it did more mental than
physical damage. He now knew he couldn't get through the Pokemon
without a fight. "So, it looks like I can't simply walk past yo-"
He popped the opponent in the face with a Bullet Punch before
getting into a battle stance.
"OW...right in the.." Jin mumbled as he swung at the machine his
fist glowing.
Jin stole some hp back before leaping and swing down with a Duel
Ice Punch ready.
The punch hit Metagross hard in the head, but he caught the Ice
Punches. With his hind legs, he threw a Meteor Mash at the Gallade,
knowing he was off-guard.
Jin kicked into the Metor Mash sending him flying away, hurt but
not as bad as he would be. Jin spun through the air and raised an
arm and chucked a Psycho Cut at the machine. Jin then landed and
held himself against the building waiting for his next chance to
strike.
Metagross was in an alley, panting. He knew he couldn't go out into
the open. He knew attacking the building would be pointless. Backup
wasn't coming. He just sat there and waited for a time to escape.
Willow had sensed danger on her horn, somewhere close by in the
city. Her trainer slept, unaware of the danger, but was not near
where a battle must be fought. Leaping deftly from rooftop to
rooftop she saw the smoking stones, a Duosion, and Jin, a gallade
who was apparently fighting something.
The duosion shocked Jin, and sensing trouble, she stepped in to
intercede. With silent determination she landed behind them, and
aimed a Night Slash directly for the Duosion's back.
Duo watched the entire conflict and saw another Kalosian Pokemon
come after his help, so he knew now was the perfect time to strike.
"Watch out!" Metagross jumped out in front of the Duosion to take
the hit before collapsing. He barely got up, since he was losing
the will to fight.
Willow jumped back as the pain swept through her, shaking herself.
Her eyes fell worriedly on the pokemon who had taken her hit,
appearing heavily hurt. War or no war she only wanted to keep her
trainer - and those in the city - safe.
"Is human money worth our pain?" She asked, ever the peacemaker, as
Absol's tended to be. She allowed power to course through her and
leaped forward, aiming an X-Scissor not at the other pokemon, but
at the electric generators.
Twig stood on a tree above the fighting Pokemon, observing without
knowing the dangers of being near them. He wished he could fly away
but his wings refused to spread. He hasn't been in the war for so
long but he was quite a bit traumatized by violence.
Will I benefit anything if I join in?, he thought. He was
awaiting answers from his mind but didn't receive one signal, so he
continued to observe.
Metagross sighed, using Meteor Mash on the Pokemon that snuck up on
his ally. If he was going down, he'd be going down fighting. He
just wanted to leave an impact on Kalos's Army and tell Unova's
Army they need to get their act together.
(Should I determine who wins this with a Random Number Generator or
what?)
(Random number generator is fine by me. I'm cool with the burn, I
usually just ignore any powerplaying I don't want).
The meteor mash took her by surprise, and she was thrown bodily
against the edge of another building, leaving her dazed. A moment
later something scalding hot landed on her flank, burning her, and
surprised she staggered upwards and batted it away with a paw. She
staggered wearily a few heartbeats, shaking her head to clear it.
Her trainer always told her she wasn't made to take a hit.
