Well you get more money and Golden Game Chips and it gives extra experience to the Pokemon you interact with, considering this is an interaction based game, I think it's nice to use berries every so often and users some times feed your Pokemon berries too nwn/

Plus they have another use in the berry garden where you can earn PD, items and even a little surprise here and there, so I don't find berries to be a total waste >w<
