Cir yawned, her mouth only opening partially due to the
restrictions. "I don't think I'll be able to eat anything at all,
though, thanks to these damned fangs. What're you so scared of?
It's not like I'll be able to get close enough to bite anyone
without being shot, or perhaps cheered on by any especially insane
spectators while trying to stay alive in the arena." She was
starting to wish that she wasn't wearing the bracelet, that she
could just go full spider and destroy this place.
Cari shook her head. "I'll never understand this." She said with a
sigh, holding up her hand. "By the way, 'Demon' or whatever, nice
to meet you." She added, before holding up her hand. Begone.
"Feel blood on your claws another time." Cari hissed, clutching her
arm. She gestured to the glass. "Or, of course, you could go after
Gray. Isn't he hurting you? Isn't he scaring you?"
"Well then, seems for the millionth time today I've been trumped in
an argument. Would you hear it folks, yet again, it has happened!"
Cir said, but a hint of anger overlapping with the tone of sarcasm.
"Perhaps if I'd work up my courage to go and battle I could get
defeated once more!"
"Sometimes we'd do triple. I used to make Krys, Vix, and Ink all
fight one another and that was always interesting. You never knew
who would win..." Gray says.
Vix blinked. "I-I can't hurt him. He would h-hurt me again."
Cir's really starting to get annoyed now. "Perhaps if you'd shut
your mouth and stopped asking questions that would get you killed,
you'd be victorious in not getting your face torn off...." she
muttered.
Cari began to feel slightly safer. She held up one hand.
"Considering the circumstances, I'm quite sure that he would be
unable to hurt you." She gestured around. "You've fought so long,
so hard, but for what?" Her confidence faltered. "I can't reach the
glass. And I'm positive I can't propel my powers through it. I
would do it myself, but.."
Cari shook her head. "He could try." She looked at her wrist. "I
don't know everything. But I do know-" Her eyes began to glow.
"That everyone fears something." She held both hands, expelling
energy from them. "Even I do."
Cari smiled slightly. "I don't know what kind of abnormalities he
has, but everyone up there has some." She held out one hand. "What
do you say? The lead t we can do is stop this fight for now."
