Cari slips down and lands on the ground with a muffled "ow", sitting up and rubbing her arm. "Is there a quit option?" She muttered, looking up angrily. She rolled to the side and stood up, with the help of a wall.

Ax realized she hadn't said anything the whole time. Determined not to ruin her own reputation of being loud, she spoke. "She's right, I'm hungry too." She referred to Stella.

Locus frowned and stepped back towards the shadows, becoming partially invisible as he went. He'd just watch for now. It was clear that escape wouldn't be possible until he knew more. His brain told him to stay out of the way. His training told him to bash in Grey's skull and see if he could take on the demon. He decided to listen to his brain.
