Jack awoke under the tree he had been standing under. He looked
around slowly, trying to find what had woken him up. He glanced
above his head, just as an apple fell. It hit him square on the
forehead, and bounced off. Before Jack could pick it up, a grey
blob floated down from above, slowly turning into a squirrel. It
finally noticed Jack, but instead of running away, as most Boggarts
do, this one seemed interested in Jack. Jack was also interested
with this creature that could change shape. He plucked an apple off
the tree, and held it out to the Boggart. It sniffed his hand
curiously, but eventually it jumped into his hand. It transformed
back into it's regular form, while Jack grinned, his eyes glinting
under his top hat.
"kid, i don't think we should be here right now."
"Yeah, I think your right."
The flight took off once again. They were flying over more trees,
with the breeze in the air. Bert still was kind of frightened of
the shadow, but he didn't really care.
"So what do you do for a pass time in the forests?" "scaring other myths."
"But wait, why?" "i feed on fright."
"Ah, so you can only eat fear?" "yep. i only need to eat once a month, but i still need food. im
like and not like humans."
"Okay then. How old are you?" ∞ years. i started at the beginning of time."
"That's cool."
Kin was slightly surprised at the fox seemed already comfortable
with him. He nodded as he accepted the offer and slide onto the
back of the lean creature, feeling the muscles under his fingers
strain for a second, feeling the fox chuckle under him.
Azzo let Kin get situated before he stepped forward, the flaming
orbs floated around his paws, lighting them ablaze as he took a
leap forward, getting lifted off the ground a few feet as he kept
leaping straight. Hearing the gasp from the teen made him smirk as
he kept them hovering a few feet, passing just over the trees in a
fast manner.
