Vixen, having fallen into a deep sleep after eating a portion of the badger - which still lay in the middle of the cave, waiting to be eaten - woke up with a start. She didn't know why, her instincts just went bam. Jumping to her feet, she pranced to the cave's entrance, her eyes gleaming coldly in the shadows, staring out at everything. The fur along Vii's spine began to bristle, and she silently bared her teeth, jumping out and onto the creature lurking in the brush. The creature, which turned out to be a doe, released a shrill note of panic before Vixen quickly ended its life with a quick nip. "..More prey, I guess." She thought out loud. But why would a deer be this close to the cave, couldn't it smell all the dragons in here? Stupid thing.

Dragging it into the cave, which was mere feet away, she set the carcass next to the badger. Vii's doe was still warm, obviously, and she considered eating it now. First, however, she turned to face Fae, flicking her tail in greeting. "Hey, would you like any?" She questioned, nudging the deer with a fore paw.

Looked at Vixen proudly. I forget sometimes you were the villages best hunter. Thank you so much.
She waltzed over to the carcass and started to eat the delicous meat and warmth from the Doe filling her belly just enough to get her energy back.
Wiping the blood from her maw she turned towards Vixen.
Has Arbok come back yet?

Vixen positively glowed with pride at Fae's words. (( Or would it be thoughts ? )) She gulped down a bit of the deer's meat as well, but tried to leave most of it for Fae- her leader having not eaten as recently as herself. Vii copied her action, wiping the residue from her bloodied muzzle, then shaking her head. "No, do you want me to go look for her? I can probably scent her out." One ear had already swiveled to the cave's entrance, ready to pick up even the slightest noise. The other was still aimed at Fae, not wanting to miss anything she said, despite the dragon's words usually taking place directly in her mind.

(( Are these too long?? I'll try and cut it down if so, sorry hah ))

Thought about Vixens suggestion but decided it would be best if i went.
I will go. It would be best if the leader went to talk to her kin members. I wont be too long and my wounds have closed up. While im gone though youll be in charge of guarding them since you have better senses

Turning towards the mouth of the cave and streched her wings taking off into the darkness.

i know shes not far. She was upset and wouldnt abandon us

Sniffing the air for Arboks Spicy sweet scent.

Vii was a bit surprised by Fae's response, but as her leader had requested she only watched as Fae flew away. Vixen looked around, wondering what to do now that she was 'in charge of guarding them'. Her own wings unfurled, still kept close to her sides to avoid hitting them on something in the tight quarters, Vixen twisted around the stalactites-- and perched on an outcropping in the cave's wall. Perpetually alert, Vii sat with her ears pricked, and eyes seeing all. One of her favorite things about being a hybrid was heightened senses, which were always fun. Unless you're trying to sleep and one of your den mates fart, or snore.
