Jack's tail flicked as the rustic smell of the alleyway flooded into his senses. As a fox, he had a keen sense of both smell and sight--which mostly worked out in his favor. The alleyway smelled faintly of waste and perhaps even blood, although he was probably just on the edge from the sudden gunshot. She's probably not going to kill me, he reassured himself.

Jinx chuckled softly. "It's nice to meet you tw--three. How long have you been here in the city, I wonder?" She asked, smiling brightly and pulling her hair away from her face.

crystal weaved past stuff that was in the allyway and continued leading him through it.

''i came here from the canine kingdom when i was rather young with my parents... but they passed away after i got around to being ten year's old.. which is when i met this little guy since my parent's knew his, i sort of adopted him as a little brother since his mother wanted me to keep an eye on him...'' willow muttered.
yuzuki hugged his plushie and smiled a little.
''i know mama's not here... i was told she passed away after i was born.. but i know she loved me, cause she made me this toy and on my tail i was born with a heart shaped spot on my tail'' he said, bringing his tail up to show the small heart on the end of his tail.

Jack's eyes met with a lanky stranger who sat next to a box. He had a scornful look to his eyes and a cigarette hanging loosely out of his mouth, his head slowly reaching to his side. Jack's eyes narrowed at the stranger, his tail flicking harshly. The stranger neither backed away nor advanced; instead, he watched the two scurry through the alleyway. Jack turned back to Crystal, his voice steady but with the faintest traces of worry. "Where are you leading us off to?"

Jinx's sorrowful gaze met the young boy's, her smile now sympathetic. "I see. Around where are you two staying? I know the, erm, community isn't kind to certain species," she asked.

Jack simply nodded, blinking sharply as his ears swiveled. He could hear the soft squish of boots against the road, a sudden trample of footsteps. There were around three of them. "The guards are near us. I don't think it's safe for me to be seen with you," he murmured, clenching his teeth. "They'll probably think I'm trying to hurt you or some crap like that... being a fox and all."

"It's a wonderful place sometimes, this refugee camp," Jinx mused, tugging at her light cloak.

willow covered yuzuki's ear's and chuckled.
''especially against any men who act like total pervs, cause i know where it hurt's them most'' she said rather amused, then uncovered yuzuki's ear's.

crystal turned another corner away from the noise a bit before skidding to a stop.
she moved a large box with a slightly smaller box forward away from a wall and motioned for him to follow as she got down and crawled through.

She laughed, the very few feathers on her arm perking up as if they were ruffling. The lanterns above illuminated the area in a soft golden light, although they flickered occasionally. How long have I even been here? Three, four years? Jinx seemed to have lost perception of time in the refugee camp--she had been so used to it... She brushed her hair away from her face.

Jack's ears perked up, a bit surprised. Crystal seemed to know every inch of the town--not that he didn't. But she had managed to find every shelter and hideout, unlike him. He simply lived on the streets, uncaring whether or not about shelter. He obliged, silently following her lead.

once jack was in through the small entrance she grabbed the rope that was attached to a small half ring on the box and pulled, covering up the entrance from sight.

Jinx shrugged. "The Avian kingdom has a pacifist for a leader, not to mention it floats above the safe haven..." she shrugged, reevaluating, "Although I'm not sure how it's changed in the recent years." Jinx's gaze snapped to her side at a sudden figure. It was one she vaguely recognize.
"Excuse me," she murmured to the duo, slipping away from sight and towards the strange figure. It was undoubtably a male crow, someone slimmer and shorter than she was. His left eye was scarred shut, his right a blazing electric blue.
"Is he dead, Jinx?" Mumbled the crow, flicking the ashes off his cigarette. Jinx huffed.
"He was close to surviving. You're a wreck, you know that?" She monotonously shoved a vial into the crow's hand. "Thanks." He shifted away into the darkness, Jinx's eyes following his frame.

Jack flinched at the sudden darkness that had cast over them; it only gave him a wary feeling. He knew from experience that most encounters like this didn't end well, but then again he didn't have any other options. It was either stay in here, with the seemingly harmless wolf--nobody would ever find his body if he died here--or suffer the wrath of the guards. Jack sighed, flicking his tail and turning away from the entrance. "You never told me your name."

willow let yuzuki go continue to play and leaned back, elegantly placing her hand's on her lap as she watched him with a smile.

crystal pulled out a small flashlight from her pocket and turned it on, holding it with her mouth as she tied it up to a hook on the floor by the entrance.
she got up and went over to a shelf and grabbed a lighter, lighting a few candle's that were on the shelf and went around doing the same thing.
''i'll tell you my name after you give me your weapon if you have one... your in my domain so i must take your weapon to fully trust you..'' she muttered, turning the flashlight off after the room they were in was filled with candle light.

Jack briefly wiped the hair away from his eye, looking at Crystal emotionlessly. Debating with himself. He sighed, closing his eyes in defeat and weakly throwing a kitchen knife her way. "That's all I got," he murmured, looking around the room.

Silver glanced up at the tree, squinting from the beaming sunlight. She flicked her tail with irritation, although didn't reach for her weapon yet.
"Oi!" She hissed, staring upwards at the asleep cat.

she let the knife hit the floor before she picked it up and smiled a bit.

mango's ear twitched and he yawned, looking down at the girl that shouted at her while his tail swayed.
''aye?'' he replied.
a small yellow creature with a leaf attached to it's head peeked over mango's side out of curiosity at silver.

Silver huffed, looking over her shoulder at back at the stranger. "It's getting close to nightfall. There's a protocol about staying outside after dark--I'm pretty sure you know this. You should find a better shelter before it's too late." She turned away, hoping that he would get the message and leave. He'd better get going now if he wants to survive... I'd hate to have to kill him.

mango came up in front of her and grinned, swaying his tail while hi little creature pal sat on his shoulder, waving at her with the leaf on it's head.
''i know the curfew miss, but you wouldn't harm a fellow who's unarmed would ya...? i'm more of a lover then a fighter, violence is so stupid in this world.... i don't get why all of us species can't live in harmony again like centuries ago'' he said in a soft spoken and calm voice.

''nice to meet you, now i'm gonna go put your weapon in a safe place with my dagger'' she said, unsheathing her egyptian dagger to show him that she was armed but also didn't want to fight as she picked up one of the candle's and disappeared into one of the other room's to hide the weapon's.

Silver smiled faintly, looking towards the ground. "Stupid but inevitable... and to answer your question, yes. I'd have no choice." She revealed a small, ruby-colored pendant. Her face was now solemn. "Protocols."

he sighed and his pupil's shifted to cat's eye's, then he swiftly went behind her while snagging a hold of her arm's and pinning them against her back while pushing her to the tree.

She laughed drily, her eyes sparkling with pure amusement. "You're living up to that 'pacifist' title you claim; it's not defense if I never attacked you in the first place..." Silver stretched her neck, cracking it. "The sun is setting. You're wasting your time..." Her ear swiveled. "I don't want to do anything to you, stranger."

Silver chuckled, turning around to watch the stranger leave. She glanced to the palace, sighing wistfully and continuing to patrol around the area. Bells rang softly in the distance, casting a sudden darkness to spread out around the clock tower. The stars burst to life, the moon a silver crescent.
Silver sighed and unsheathed her weapon.

manga had made it home and unlocked the door, sighing as he walked in and closed it behind him with a click, locking the door behind him.
