So I run into a cluster of sprites that won't show the correct sprite - instead, they seem to cluster and copy one sprite at a time. I see this mainly in the bug hatching contest and the GTS. When I go to "All Trades", the first couple pokemon will ALL be the same sprites/icons despite the names being obviously different. And every time I refresh, they all just change to a different sprite that still does not match their name.

The bug hatching contest is impossible to play. I can get 1 bug and then it begins copying pokemon and any "bug" I click on after is a gamble whether or not it's actually a bug pokemon... I'm not entirely sure what this issue is or how to properly describe it but I'm assuming it's a bug since I've erased my history cache and cookies and STILL have this problem.

The Bug Contest was kinda a pain to play when it was first released, but Riako updated the Bug Contest Mechanics.
Also, if you have an image-related bug [like stacking sprites in the GTS], it might not be a bad idea to clear your Cache [ctrl + F5]

I've seen neither happen in a long while, though, so I don't think it's around anymore.
