The fee isn't that much, and as far as premium benefits in the auction house, we already get to set up three extra auctions (for a total of eight)

Plus, that would completely ruin the "promoted auctions" reasoning - its for featuring more important things, like pokemon that will sell for more PD (shinies) or pokemon holding items (since the promoted auctions and the pokemon's individual auction page are the only places you can see the items they are holding)

Sure, sometimes someone promotes a pokemon that isn't shiny, mega, an event, or holding an item, but that number would skyrocket if premium users had their auctions promoted for free.

I'm sure no one wants to see my ordinary caterpie auctions up there when they're looking for something special after all :3

No support, I completely agree with Blanche on this one.

A small correction though: Premium Users get four more auction slots than Regular Members, not three. But that also adds to Blanche's reasoning of ruining promted auctions as Premium Users already get double the amount of auctions to set up at one time.
