You live in a suburban area of a big
Pokemon region, as usual, but something's different about this
region...it's so peaceful. There are no criminals, there are no
gyms, and there is no champion. There's nothing making people want
to battle except for the people of the region just wanting to enjoy
themselves. You know where this is going. Some dark force appears,
swiping people away from their homes for months, and putting them
back out with very dry and wrinkled skin, with very slow and lanky
movement, and with a giant gray mushroom on their head, slowly
beginning to control them. It's a parasite.
Large temples have been built out of nowhere as well. People have reported that there are voices talking about an "army" in said temples...but nobody has ever seen or heard anything else in there except their own footsteps and a picture of a man, his Tentacruel, and his Vaporeon. Your character is driven by this and thhinks the "army" conspiracies are real and wants to take it down.

After walking in, Ask was immediately greeted by a professor. After being asked about his gender, Ask was told that he could enter a room where there were many forms in there for a Pokemon...
Each had a different Pokemon's name on it, and they were in stacks, so there were definitely multiples of the same Pokemon. There was one for Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, Sandshrew, Meowth, Cyndaquil, Chikorita, Totodile, Mareep, Pineco, Marill, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Swablu, Skitty, Beldum, Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Shinx, Riolu, Budew, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Deino, Venipede, Sandile, Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie, Helioptile, Honedge, and Espurr.
Ask was just staring at all of the options, debating over which could be the best for him...

"I can't wait to see what kind of pokemon you get!" Cory, her brother, had yelled as she ran toward the lab. She was in such a rush now that it didn't seem like she had woken up so much earlier. She just made it as the labs door opened and the Professor greeted them all. She was a bit out of breath, but she nodded to Duchess and Ask with a smile.
Then they were led into a room with forms of several pokemon. Ask looked so intently at them Cass didn't want to disturb him. She read over the names and bit her bottom lip. Which should she pick?

Ask filled a form out and was handed a nest ball- a Budew, right? She couldn't hep but raise her eyebrows. It was an interesting choice. Duchess was busy filling out another form for a Fenniken. "Okay, okay..." Closing her eyes she took another deep breath. "Just... pick." Opening her eyes she reached out and the form in front of her made her smile. It was such an easy choice, she just couldn't see it among all the names.
She filled out the form and handed it to the Professor. Bouncing on her feet as they went back to get her pokeball. They came back out and handed her a shining Dive Ball. Her reflection appeared in the ball and she couldn't wait to meet her Oshawott partner.

The professor got an Oshawott in a Net Ball and a Fennekin in a Friend Ball for each of the people approaching the lab. Ask already had his Budew out and was checking on it.
"So, let's see...Timid nature... Good IVs in all stats... Oh, what? Guys, check this out! All of the Pokemon from here have a special egg move!" (Choose one o3o please no TMs or Level Up moves)
