ok so maybe you could make your everstone not work until your pokemon evolves, for example if you had a ralts male that you wanted to become gallade but had to go to bed and came back on in the morning and it was a gardevoir you probably wouldn't be too happy *especially if it was shiny* maybe you needed to pay an extra 1000 PD to make it work like this though?

I don't quite understand this suggestion.

If you don't want your pokemon to evolve you just give it an everstone and it won't. If you want to evolve it later, then give it the everstone for now, then, when you want it to evolve, take away the everstone and level up your pokemon to evolve it.

Everstones are almost always in the shop, and they are pretty cheap too.

So no support from me.

well, the idea is pay extra to make your pokemon evolve once or twice then keep it from evolveing after that unless you take the everstone off, this could be useful if you have to go to bed or something

But if it has an everstone then it won't evolve, it doesn't matter what evolution you give the everstone at. For example, you could evolve your squirtle to wartortle, then give him an everstone, and he won't evolve into blastoise unless you take the stone away.

yes I understand this, its a suggestion to make it evolve while holding an everstone by giving extra PD to make it only evolve to a certain evolution so that you don't have to wait a long time, or risk it getting evolved to far *especially shiny*

as far as i'm aware, a pokemon needs to level two separate times if it's high enough to evolve to its final evolution, in the case of three-tier pokemon, so this will not be an issue as long as you keep an everstone on it and only take it off when you know you are going to be around to put the everstone back on it or evolve it to an alternate desired evolution before it gains enough exp to level again

(correct me if i'm wrong - i've only done this once long ago, so i am unaware if the method has changed somehow)

It hasn't.
What everyone so far is saying, give the Pokemon an everstone if you don't want it to evolve. It's simple.
And, if you are saying 'If you pay ---- PD your Pokémon will evolve,' that's basically saying you don't work for what you wish.
So, no support.
