Kara had returned to her house and was in her living room, surrounded by books. She was studying about the rain and storms while listening to music.

Kara lifted her head in shock. She threw the book she was reading to the side and flipped another one open, pausing on a page and tracing her finger down it.

"What the-?" Sylvia said, touching the space where the TV had been. She could still feel it. "Is my TV magical, too?!" Then it dawned on her. "Aw, crap, now I have to help fix this mess." She made the TV visible again.

Kara stood up and brushed her clothes off, replacing all the books except the one she was reading on the shelf again. She tucked the book she was taking into her backpack, along with a few water bottles. She had collected packages of water bottles, and now had plenty. People had thought she was crazy, but she knew something weird would happen one day. And boy was that hunch right.
Kara crouched and walked through the tunnels, eventually making it out into the open. It was raining acid rain, and she lifted both hands up, creating a small fire forcefield. It evaporated the acid rain, keeping her safe as she ran throughout the town.

Eventually, Sylvia grabbed a block of wood she found somewhere and held it over her head. It wouldn't last forever, but it would do. She headed outside.
