Max saw her start to change and turned his back immediately. He was
not going to watch a girl two years younger than him change. Ew. He
was raised better.
"Sorry for laughing, it's really good, but I'm kinda, y'know,
straight?" River pointed out. "My mom wouldn't mind if I was gay
though. She has another son and four daughters to get grandchildren
out of."

Adrin realized Max was there, and her face erupted into a red
inferno. "Oh god, I'm sorry!" She slipped the T-Shirt on, and spun
around to face him, apologizing profusely. Arin glanced at River,
and sadness flashed in his eyes for split second as she looked
away.
"I did? Sorry Arin, I didn't mean to make you upset." River said,
frowning with an 'I'm stupid' look on his face. He knew he was
going to be kicking himself for that for a long, long time.
"It's okay Adrin, it's okay." Max said with a smirk. Then it
vanished. "We need to tell them about the water not moving. This
could be serious."

"I, when I was in middle school, was physically bullied by 6 girls,
then they realized I loved the pain, and they stopped." Dean said.
"Call me messed up, I don't care."
Arin shook his head, his lips forming a sad smile. "It's completely
fine. I'm fine." He said, letting out a sigh. Adrin nodded, limping
a bit as she exited the tent. Fae watched the conversation,
shipping the two boys mentally.
"You sure? You don't sound sure." River asked, feeling stupid. He
didn't mean to upset Arin.
"You can lean on me if you need to." Max told Adrin. Then he led
her to the others. "Hey guys, we might have a problem at the
river." He started, looking pretty worried.

"So, we were at the river, just hanging out. Then, Adrin fell into
the river. She got out just fine, because the water wasn't moving.
At all. Not a ripple aside from where she was." Max told them.
River raised his eyebrows and said, "Woah. That's weird."

"Isn't that a sign of a storm...?" Arin asked, thinking. He knew it
was a sign of something. Adrin nodded, looking down. Fae was
worried, but she didn't move.
Riley smiled walking in with a new knife. "It is a throwing knife.
It isn't as good as the bow, but you can use these easier, and a
target won't see it coming."
"Well, I highly doubt it's a normal storm, with how things have
been going lately." Max said with a deep frown. "Also, Riley!
C'mere, Adrin's ankle's hurt. You're the doctor, do something. I
can't do everything you know."

"Oh! Yeah, we do need a doctor." Dean said, all he was trying to do
was try and get on Max's good side, before Dean tried to tell him
that he had a crush on Melina. "Max, I have... something to tell
you, I, had a crush on... Melina."
"That's...pretty strange, Dean. Usually you don't show you have a
crush on someone by hating them, even after their bloody demise."
Max said, not really fazed by this in the least. "Also, you're not
the first to have a crush on my pretty sister, but you are the
last." Max turned and walked away. (Should this storm be the time
that Max disappears in?)

"Now, I've only acted this way, because I have a rock solid
exterior, but inside, I'm a jelly, a soft, delicate, jelly, I like
the jelly more, but my rock-hard shell prevents it. Mainly pain
helps, a lot." Dean said, following Max.
Arin spoke up "There's a bar. We can stay there if you want...?" He
suggested, shifting. Adrin nodded, looking down at her ankle. She
sat, wincing a bit.
