Perri's brush skimmed the canvas, creating a purple line. She kept doing that, and then she dipped her brush in the water, watching as the paint came off in little spits. She got the black, and continued to do the thing she had done with the purple. She smiled at the finished project. A purple skyline with a silhouette of a girl in a dress and a boy on one knee as he held out a little box with a ring.
