Okay right now im pretty pee'd off

i just went in to check my shiny field and found that my caterpie (now metapod) has had its evertsone removed and now evolved overnight since it wasnt like that before i went to sleep.

I had never removed this myself, so im asking how could this have happened?

Same problem here with one shiny patrat.

I left it today in my party with one everstone equiped and now that I've arrived home it has evolved and the everstone is missing
