On a side note, I would have won within ten minutes, but I forgot to buy healing items and went into the challenge without a single one. x.x
In postgame, I beat the Elite Four and Champion with only a Mewtwo, once I actually had items to use.

Also, you know how you need to encounter the bird a set number of times before it settles in Sea Spirit's Den, and you can't do anything to it before then? I would hate to find a Shiny Legendary Bird and have it flee before I had the option to use a Master Ball. @.@
Is it even possible for them to be Shiny before you encounter them in the den? Would they be guaranteed to be Shiny every time if you found a Shiny the first time? Some roaming Pokémon have their stats and such decided before you encounter them, so it could be possible.

I still didn't find a single shiny in this game yet :p
Btw I finally beat the elite :3 all my Pokemon were at about lvl 65, and 5 of my 6 pokemon ended being at lvl 69 xD (charizard not since it was the only one at lvl 60)
Anyone here who wants to swap friend codes for the safari stuff? I'm trying to catch as many pokemon as possible! I specially want the starters and a riolu >w<

Erm..ahem...sorry about that....but I finally beat the Elite Four! xD Most of my Pokemon were in their 70s, but the fire girl was a pushover with my lvl 65 Lapras lol
I'm enjoying the Friend Safari too, but I'm all out of Quick Balls and money to buy them. I spent it on those Mega Stones at the Stone Emporium at Lumiose >_>;

@GreenNeonz: Lucky! I've been trying to get a shiny Zigzagoon since I got the Radar a couple weeks ago. Still, that's pretty awesome! It's a good thing you had pokeballs on you. I know there must be a ton of people who ran into shinies at the beginning of the game, before they got the chance to buy some. xD
Speaking of which...
I have succeeded! I caught a shiny female Skiddo! I named her Circe. :3 I tried to get another, but ran out of repels. Oh, well. I was actually pretty close to running out before I saw that shiny patch.

Yeah, I'm so glad that there was an early pokeball store, otherwise I wouldn't have caught that shiny zigzagoon. -Is trying to breed for a shiny Houndour- LOL

Good luck! I was thinking of chaining for a shiny Houndour, but all those rocks that are in the way make me nervous, lol. I'm afraid I might not get a decent chain because of them.

About shinies I didn't get any yet lol :p I try to breed or chain but I don't have that much patience. Congratz!
About money, who has a problem with money? :'D
Go to the battle mansion thing in the daycare's route, go with a lvl 70 or higher pokemon with the amulet coin item which duplicates what you win. Then go and battle till you get money! >D and then in the three stars restaurant at luminous city, you pay 150,000 for entering, but if you have very strong pokemon , one of them with amulet coin(lvl 80 or more), try to defeat each rival in one or two turns. You will get the money duplicated with the amulet coin from them + if you do it correctly in 1/2 turns each battle you should get about 24 rare mushrooms that you can sell. If you do it correctly you get about 180,000 profit if I remember correctly xP

Also, I took a break from hatching Gastlies, but I think I'll get back to that soon....Shiny Mega Gengar is just too awesome for me to pass up! >w<
