Pokemon X and Y
Forum-Index → General Discussion → Pokemon X and YAnd Im trying to find people interested in trading vivillions or froakie for fennekin or chespin but I didnt find any yet.
Tina; while looking for another thing, yes I found that on google. I want to try it but I dont have anything to fish with xD I dont know where I can get them.
Sylveon and Delphox >u< sylveon is so cute, delphox I'm still not sure about the design but I like the type and its characteristic move (greninja's one is one of these who attack before the other pokemons and can make from 2 to 5 hits). Lucario and charizard yeah xD and I don't really need lapras because I got greninja.
But...actually the one who has surf is gogoat! xD I was like..."I'm surfing on a plant goat, sure" but it's pretty nice to defeat fire pokemon :3 What I like the most is that I try to have four different type moves per pokemon. Lucario has poison + fighting + rock + normal attacks, but I'm waiting to get a steel move .w. And aurorus has electric type but I don't like that he's so weak to fighting and steel >.<
And thanks for the rods :3 I must go fishing >D
I pretty much only chose Delphox because of Fennekin, and its Fire-Psychic combo is awesome 8D Then I got to the part where you get Surf, and I remembered why I always chose Water starters :L
I'm not really sure what you mean by characteristic moves, but I know some Pokemon have signature abilities.
If you could teach your Gogoat a fire move, then it would be invincible.... >:3 And I try really hard to get four different-typed moves, or at least three, but I'm not doing very well :p Good luck with your fishing! :3
I'm not so sure about Aurorus though. I love him so much but he hasn't learnt a move against steel or fighting yet >w< and I don't really tyrantrum design but the shiny is amazing ;u; silver-blue
I still don't know how fairies work really >-< and since I was for sure going to get blaziken and charizard I went straight to greninja :p water rules (except feraligatr, he's ugly, even though totodile is cute <w<)
Mega charizard Y has much better special attack and I think it's a little faster, but mega charizard X has got a better attack, while keeping nice special attack and speed, it's more balanced :3
You actually needed the water one, lapras, but if you hadn't wanted it you could have got a gogoat like me. That goat is just epic xD
Yeees that attacks that only a certain pokemon learns. Your delphox must have learned (or wanted to learn) mystical fire, while my greninja learnt water shuriken :p
If I can't get different types ones I just check if the pokemon has better attack or special attack, or both, and then pick MTs and stuff :p I really like having moves that attack before the other pokemons, or the ones that never fail
@Tina: Fairy moves are super effective against dark not the other way around XD The only moves that are super effective against fairies are poison and steel.
Side note:
Someone actually redid the poke-rap with all 718 pokemon

Greninja
Chesnaught
Delphox
Blastoise
Venusaur
Charizard
woo! I also have lots of old pokémon that can join the fun. Honestly, the pokémon from 6th gen I love the most are:
Heliolisk
Chesnaught
Noivern
and the pokémon I love from old gens are:
Archen
Salamence
Braviary
Linoone (I have a shiny one in X)
Flygon
I would choose Blaziken, since it can hit fast and hard (especially with the event hidden ability and mega evolution) Plus, its fighting type moves will knock out most of the popular fairy types, like Sylveon or Xerneas.
If you're going with Aurous, be sure to teach it a water type move, if you don't have a water type.
Shedinja is pretty kick butt with its ability, but remember it's weak to flying, rock, ghost, fire, and dark type moves. About 60-80% of your opponents will know one of these types, especially how common moves like Crunch and Aerial Ace are.
I would probably add a "tank" to the team like Tyranitar, since what I've suggested to you so far has more offensive Pokemon. Make sure you have Pokemon that can either quickly KO your opponent, or outlast them with HP. (If outlasting, make sure you have moves that will sharply raise their defenses.)
That's just my two bits, but it's my kind of battle style. I would actually make two teams, an offensive and a defensive, use them both in online competition a bit, and see which one you like most/counters the best. ;)
i have fists for hands and fire for fists
Every time I see Flabebe I automatically think that it's a Grass type and I can take it out with a Fire attack. Then I kick myself when I remember that it's only a Fairy type. xD
Same, MurderVictim, it totally looks grass xD and the shiny pidgey, at least is a shiny! lol
CometandAqua; A classmate/friend totally told me no no no to having Aurorus in my team, due to the x4 weakness to fighting and steel types, specially when aurorus has more special defense than normal one, while most fighting and steel types are physical and not special. I may still keep him until I beat the end of the game. Then I'll go find and train better pokemon xD

The CHAMPION uses one, so I think that
they are good enough to make up for their double weaknesses.
However, you should probably keep him out of the battles with the
Elite Four other than the Dragon-type one, because I think they're
all super-effective against it. ^^'
