"Wake up," she growled as she shook Chloe's shoulder. "WAKE UP!"
Chloe groaned. "Not today, Betterwood,"
"You'll get up if you want to battle at the Diamond Arena." Jen said.
"Screw that, I'm sleeping in today." replied Chloe.
"Screw that? The Diamond Arena?! Well alright then, sleep in." said Jen. She walked out of the room and out of the house.
"JENPAI!" someone yelled, and Jen was suddenly knocked to the ground. "Give me a break, Leah!" yelled Jen.
Leah giggled. "Never, Jen, you're just a me-magnet today!"
Jen pushed Leah off. "Hyper little midget," she said, standing up.
Leah grinned. "Sorry to jet, bye!" she said cheerfully and ran off towards her house.
Jen pulled her hat back on. "Nothing like getting tackled by a child to start your day," she muttered and resumed walking to the arena. She once again was interrupted.
"Jen, you little twit, get over here," said a too-familiar voice.
"Sia, be serious for once."
"Oh, Jen, I try, but I can't control this thing, ya know, it's called awesome," she replied with a bragging tone.
Jen rolled her eyes. "Don't do that, Sia."
Sierra tried to hide a giggle. "I'll be a ghosty whenever I wish," she replied, and drifted away.
Jen sighed. "Something's off today..." she murmured as she stepped through the crystal-glass doorway of the Diamond Arena.

"Off I go, like a jet or something, pew pew!" she yelled as she ran.
"Aww, quick midget!" yelled Sia.
"Why am I always a midget?!" Leah shouted.
"Cause you're my little midget," Sia said, pulling Leah into a tight grip with one of her arms.
"Your midget? Sia, don't kid yourself, you KNOW who's midget I am," Leah replied.
"Yeah yeah, but you better shut up about your little boyfriend before your mummy finds out," Sia said sassily with a grin.
"SIA, YOU LITTLE SH-" she broke off as Sia pushed her into a bush and dashed away without a single look back.
Leah swore and resumed walking home. No fun for her, no parties. All nothings. "Nothing, nothing for me then, nooope, nothing that I'll get... Might as well run away and be done with it... At least then I could go to parties and stuff..." she glanced up and ran up to her front door, opening it quickly.
She stared at the open door of her house. "Mom?" she called out as she saw her mother sitting at the table, reading some sort of fantasy novel.
Her mother glanced up. "What's going on, Leah?"
Leah rocked back and forth on her heels. "Sia's being a jerk again..."
Her mother rolled her eyes. "Don't let her get to you."
Leah frowned, but ignored her mother's words and walked to her room. "No place to be angry if there's nothing else either..." she muttered, then spent a few moments verbally abusing Sia.
Leah sat down on her bed. "Tiiime to sleep, sleepin' time, doo doo doot doo..." She laid down and stretched across the blankets, drifting off into a deep, warm expanse of black, smiling faintly as she felt the bliss of sleep.

She poked Chloe in the arm, causing them both to jump in surprise.
