I know personally I dont use the nuggets for anything. A few pokemon that i need to finish my Dex people request for like 2 million nuggets. So Im not using mine for anything. Anything in the nugget shop Im not interested in. Maybe have a thing where you can exchange the nuggets for coins or even add more to the nugget shop. Like maybe rare pokemon or items.

You can also sell your nuggets to other users and give them a chance to get what they want;) If users can trade in their nuggets for PD, why should they trade with other users?
Adding pokémon/items for nuggets on the other hand, would also steer PokéHeroes towards play-to-win, which is another we'd rather avoid.
And in case you're worrying about being scammed, you can always use the Trusted Trading Thread

A nugget-exchange would only have a negative impact (on trading and free-to-play), when it isn't even needed. Sorry, but this is not going to happen.
