"Go quickly!" Margie yelled.

Lilly appeared, though none of them would recognize her because of her shadowy disguise. She grinned. One of the fire dogs leaped onto Jen. Lilly swiftly grabbed Artzy and knocked her unconscious. She dragged her behind the fireplace, through another secret passageway.

Margie freed Jen, then she tore after Lilly and Artzy. Jen followed, then the door closed behind them. A creepy laugh told them that the shadowy figure was ahead.

Lilly grinned and leaped through a portrait that lead to the dining hall. She hurried her pace.

Margie and Jen followed, gaining speed to save their friend. Suddenly, the shadowy figure dropped Artzy on top of the dining hall table. The shadowy figure disappeared.

Margie went to Artzy. "Hey, are you okay?"

Kotaro sighed as he heard loud noises. He went to the dining room to check on everyone else. He looked at Artzy, questioning Jen and Margie in his head.

Artzy groaned and took off her glasses to rub her eyes.

"Jeez I feel absolutely fine!" she sarcastically said.

Margie stared at where the shady figure had disappeared. "I wonder who that was..."

Margie turned to Kotaro and explained what had happened: about the portrait, about the fire dogs, about the shady figure, and everything else. "Artzy almost died...." She finished.

Kotaro processed the story. "You still haven't interviewed the staff. Any in here could've killed anyone" he said after thinking for some time. He might as well help, it was his sister that got killed.

"Don't you think it would be a bit dangerous knowing those fire things could come? And the portraits?" Kotaro really thought this through. He tried to go with the best options. "And yeah, I'll help" he added
