"Uh." Mint blinked and watched as the vines disappeared. "Wow, this'll sound weird." She stuffed her face back in her sweater, hiding the agitated flush that was spreading across her cheeks. "Uhm.. You."

Mint's ears turned back to their normal color, and she blinked in relief, watching Chase touch the plant. "Why isn't it doing anything?"
