I found this article/discussion and thought we should talk about it.

I'd like to say that having mega evolutions for Solrock and Lunatone are genius. I'm not too sure what exactly they may look like, but I think they may be huge walls for online battles.
Bulk up the defenses a little, drop speed just a tiny bit, and raise special attack a bit.

Tropius is another pokemon I like from this post. He was one of my faves from Hoenn.
I think for it's mega, it can gain huge wings, which increases speed by a tiny bit, and attack highly. It can also raise defense just a tiny bit.

Then for Weavile, I think this one is a bit weird. Yes, we all love Weavile, but I don't think a Mega Weavile would be best fit for the game. Imagine how OP it could be.

Life Orb Adamant Mega Weavile
PickPocket
252 ATK/252 SPD/4 DEF EV's

-Knock Off
-Icicle Crash
-Ice Shard
-Low Kick/Poison Jab/Pursuit

Stats (predictions) :
HP 75
255-352

Attack 140
230-380

Defense 65
121-251

Sp. Atk 45
85-207

Sp. Def 85
157-295

Speed 140
235-390

If this was created, Weavile must be put under Uber.

So, thoughts on this guys?

I'd LOVE Mega Drapion. Mostly because I use Drapion, but eh.

Or Mega Sunflora. Sunflora sucks, so I guess a Mega would help her a bit?

Ooo I like the sound of Mega Sunflora!
Maybe, since this region is like a Hawaiian region, we'll get a bunch of plants/grass pokemon with mega evolutions.

List:
-Mega Sunflora
-Mega Victreebell
-Mega Bellossom
-Mega Tangrowth

I'd love to see all of the main Bug-types (and Volcarona) get Megas!

-Mega Butterfree = Bug-Flying
-Mega Beautifly = Bug-Fairy
-Mega Dustox = Bug-Poison
-Mega Kricketune = Bug-Psychic
-Mega Leavanny = Bug-Grass
-Mega Scolipede = Bug/Poison/Rock (woohoo! Three-types!)
-Mega Volcarona = Bug/Fire
-Mega Vivillon = Bug/[depending on forme (ex. Monsoon = Water, High Plains = Grass, etc.)]

Mega Sunflora sounds nice too.

The butterfly pokemon (yes including dustox...sure it's a moth though) sound like a good idea as well.
I'd be more interested in Mega Beautifly than the other butterfly pokemon tbh.

I can see it being a major leech for battles. Nice design, nice special attack so it's HP absorbing moves are good. and good speed to get off some kind of powder move before the opponet takes advantage of its weak defense.

And Mega Scolipede sounds straight boss. An even bigger version of it, probs with spikes would look so intimidating. And it's shiny would look pretty cool.

Now, Mega Krickatune could be beautiful, but i'd hate it if it got more attention. Its cry bothers me so much. I hate Krickatune's cry.

Personally, I love Kricketune's cry. But that isn't the point.

I'd love if Dragonair got another evolution, an elegant one, and then we mega evolved that.
(Dratini -> Dragonair -> Dragonite (Mega Dragonite)/Drelegance (Mega Drelegance))

Anyway, more megas!

Ninetales would be a nice fit for Pokemon Sun. Ninetales could be a good pokemon to have Sunny Day on, since it has amazing fire attacks.
It's a good representative for Pokemon Sun.

I'm not sure what you mean by an elegance mega evolution. I think that idea is way too complicated for Nintendo to even think about now.

The eeveelutions should be untouched tbh. They are perfect how they are, and all don't have another evo.
EXCEPT, I think Espeon and Umbreon may have to be excluded from my above sentence.
Espeon knows Sunny Day, and Umbreon knows Moonlight. They could have a main role in Sun and Moon.

Floatzel would be a cool type of pokemon to get a mega. It'll also help play a big role in the game since it is water type, and the region is Hawaiian. Floatzel could get into mega form and like...swim you somewhere idk. lol.

Liepard/Furfrou:
I like the two together since they resemble cat and dog, but Nintendo couldn't just do this with them. They have too many options to choose from.
-Liepard/Furfou
-Delcatty/Houndoom
-Purugly/Arcanine

Well, I'd like mega Typhlosion to be implemented, and I made a feed myself before...

Quote from Myself#ThingsIWantInTheNextPokemonGame

Okay... I read through what came out when I searched "Mega Typhlosion Typing". And the result was... DISAPPOINTING .
It said almost EVERYWHERE that mega typhlosion would be Fire/Ground... (Or Fire/Dark, occasionally). I couldn't bear this...
If this were to be true, my poor Blaze will turn into some sort of... Beast which I don't want..

DON'T make Mega Typhlosion a Fire/Ground (If it Debuts, which everyone is saying...

(it's currently work-in-progress)

I honestly love the Fire/Dark type Typhlosion. Looks dark and intimidating.

A fire/fighting typhlosion would be pretty good...or you could make him a fire ground and give him moves like Earth Power, Lava Plume, or Eruption

Typhlosion is one of the select group of Pokemon which already have eruption.

I guess some possible typing so which would suit (not including fire/ground) are-:
1. Pure Fire.
2. Fire/Dark

Mega Typhlosion would be better with abilities like Protean or Speed Boost.

Mega Froslass and Mega Slowking. I mean, their other possible evolution (Glalie, Slowbro) each got a mega, and I think it'll be fair to make them have one. Also mega Milotic, as it's basically hoenn Gyarados based on the uncanny similarity between Magikarp and Feebas. Also, I would personally like the Megas of the Sinnoh Starters, Arceus and the primal creation trio, but that can wait until the gen 4 remake.
Hello, kinda. Hong kong here.

@Purple Croconaw is NOT a fully evolved Pokemon. The Pokemon you are looking for is feraligatr.

I think the Sinnoh starters will get one, as, inspecting the 'Remake Pattern', Poekmon Diamond and Pearl will be having remakes this time.

Some other diserbing Pokemon are: Mew, Dragonite (but his mega stone, Dragoniteite?) and Excadrill.

The mega evo. Which I'm keen in is Raichu. It's one of my favourites, but a factor has detained the Pokemon— his pre-evo being Pikachu. I think my favourite Pokemon deserves some love, and a mega evolution might be just the trick.

I'm hoping Dragonite and Hydreigon get one, because all of the other Pseudo-Legends have mega evolutions. dragoniteiteiteiteiteiteiteite
I don't think Mega Mew will be a thing, since Mew is considered the original Pokemon and it wouldn't make sense for the ancestor of all Pokemon to evolve... Anything can happen, though.

Thanks!

@EternalMeta

Maybe Mew learns how to mega-evolve because Mewtwo is captured and used for evil, and Mewtwo goes and destroys things. The only way to stop him is if Mew became a bit more powerful. Thus, Mewtwo taps into some mystical power, and becomes Mega Mew.

It took me a while to figure out which megas would be awesome for Sun&Moon, and it hit me, that some of the most "common" pokémon actually deserves mega-evolutions, simply because some of them needs their stats boosted, to make them slightly better from what they are now. Even a very specific dragon-type deserves a mega, since most pseudo-legendaries already have one.

Mega Simisage, Mega Simisear & Mega Simipour
Unova's 'elemental' monkey trio, although very forgotten - by me anyways -, I believe they all deserve megas, even if it's slightly exaggerated for all of them to have a mega at once. Without specific movesets, they're pretty much considered useless competitively.
tl;dr Because they're all horribly weak defensively.

Mega Hydreigon & Mega Dragonite
This absolute monster of a Dragon-type, Hydreigon, in my honest opinion, also deserves a Mega since well, why not? Literally most pseudo-legendaries have a Mega, why wouldn't he have one? Why wouldn't either Hydreigon or Dragonite have a Mega, when even what I believe to be the strongest steel-type, Metagross, has one? Hopefully, either of them, if not both, obtain their deserved mega evolutions on Sun & Moon.
tl;dr Because literally every single pseudo has a mega, except them.

Mega Flygon
In my personal opinion, I see a ton of problems with Flygon. First of all, he has a horrible weakness to Ice-type, in which there's not a whole lot that can be done to fix that, unless his mega is more specially defensive than specially offensive, in which might not make a whole lot of a difference. Second of all, he doesn't obtain Dragon Dance, which is painful for those who have a Physical Flygon - his base stats share the same Atk & Sp Atk. Maybe, if Flygon obtained a mega, and now could learn Dragon Dance through level up, he could become a better dragon-type than he already is.
tl;dr Because he's rather weak defensively, and doesn't learn either Nasty Plot or Dragon Dance.

...and that's all I can think of, really.

Yeah, even when I knew Flygon was the weaker dragon type to choose from with Garchomp being out in 4th gen, I still picked Flygon in competitive just for how cool Flygon is.
If he got dragon dance and possibly another beneficial move, he'd be able to for competitive battle.

Maybe give him a Fairy type move as well. It wouldn't much matter but Flygon seems like he has potential to be a Fairy.
