Popilo watched the conversation, both intrigued and confused. 'Fire? What fire?' She thought to herself, looking back and forth between the two.

Briar huffed. "Fine. I guess I should let it go." He grumbled, blowing the hair from his face. He became silent and kept his arms folded. He exhaled heavily and looked to Popilo, tilting his head.

Popilo noticed Brair looking at her. "Wh-what?" She asked, raising an eyebrow and giving him a small smile, half of a smirk. She glanced at Kasai, and then looked back to Brair.

A small group of people had gathered nearby, and Akio was starting to get anxious. Standing up slowly, she tried to creep away from the three people, silently hoping she wouldn't be noticed.

Briar noticed Akio out of the corner of his eye, but paid no attention, as he was busy watching the street behind Kasai and Popilo. A certain bike with a logo that made Briar growl pulled up to the park, and a woman in a black uniform stepped off.

Desire looked at the suspicious group ahead of her as she gt off her bike. "I'm going in for a look." She said quietly yet sternly into her phone device as she walked over to the bench, her face covered by a scarf. She held her helmet to her side as she stayed alert, watching the group like a hawk.

Popilo felt an eerie presence behind her, and froze. But trying to act cool, she smiled and looked at Kasai. "Well, it's nice to meet you! I'm Popilo, and th-this grump here is Brair." She responded, a warm-yet completely fake- smile on her lips.

Briar gave Popilo an amused, yet slightly concerned look. He would have to ask her why she was smiling like that some other time, as he was too busy side eyeing the woman watching the group. He got close to the girls and whispered. "See that woman over there? Keep an eye on her. She's got that infamous uniform going on that I don't like the looks of."

Desire squinted as the boy started whispering to the group. 'Just need a little more evidence. Then I'll pounce.' She thought. She kept her tranquilizer gun close to her.

As she started to creep away, another presence made its way near the group. Taking a little peek behind her, a lady stood nearby, with what seemed like a gun in her hand. Akio started to shake as she tried to walk away, but her feet wouldn't budge. W-what are you doing?! Move your feet!

Briar looked at Popilo and became very serious. "No need to be afraid, Poppy. Let's just casually walk away... We don't want her to be too suspicious of us. She's smart if she's working for them." He said quietly, yet with a sense of demand. "Just please, don't do anything stupid... That's my job." He looked back at the woman briefly and began to slowly and calmly walk towards the sidewalk. gesturing for the others to follow his lead.

Desire growled, cracking her neck and lifting her scarf down to speak into her device. "I may have to make a small move, stand by." She hissed, shuffling a bit as she watched the boy move. 'That one. I need to take him.' She thought, gripping her gun in her right hand.

Popilo grabbed Kasai's hand, scampering to catch up with Briar. She caught up, and snatched his hand too, gripping them fearfully. She felt her ponytail sway, and she continued to shake a little.

Briar paid no mind to Popilo and squeezed her hand, letting her know he would protect her. He began to walk a little quicker once they were farther away. He then stopped and turned to the two girls. "Go find my house. Poppy, you know where it is. Make sure no one follows you. I wanna see who this woman's after." He stated, his eyes their usual cold and lifeless selves.

Desire got up quickly, feeling they were running from her. "Got em." She mumbled under her breath, putting her tranquilizer gun in her pocket and bringing her device to her mouth. "Be ready to possibly send some back up, we've got 3 here. And I feel there may be more." She said quickly, putting the device back in her coat pocket. She hurried stealthily towards Briar.

"But- O-okay!" Popilo had almost defied the friend of hers, but knew not to as soon as the words began to refuse. She looked at Kasai and said "Pl-please follow m-me!" She began to run to the direction of the half-breed's home. She worried about her friend, but she was running on fear right now.
