I've noticed that I have numerous pokemon of the same type, is there any way possible to be notified of that when the eggs has hatched?

We already have a feature that notifies you when an egg hatches.

Show hidden content

Settings > Misc. Settins > Notifications Popups

Unless you are suggesting something else? Please be more clear on your suggestion.
