Buttercup came up behind them. "Are you two coming for some breakfast?" She asked.

Night shook his head and continued slashing at the wood.

"Fine, suit yourselves." Buttercup muttered, and went back to where the other three children were. "How's the cake?" Buttercup asked.

Night grinned, but his grin faded within a while. "Do you want to ditch your coach?" He asked curiously.

"Melody? What do you think of the cake?" Buttercup asked patiently.

"Why can't you?" Night asked again, turning towards her.

Buttercup smiled. Ginger left the table and went back to her room. Petunia went to another room. She got onto the couch and turned the TV on. She got to a channel where they were broadcasting a Mettaton show.

Night continued to train. He got tired after a while, and collapsed onto the floor. He fell asleep almost instantly.

He woke up in a dark void.

"Oh, there you are, Night." A voice echoed.

He turned and saw a child with brown hair and a green and yellow sweater.

The child grinned. "Greetings. I am Chara."

"Why are you here, Chara?" He looked a little frightened.

"I'm here because I see that you've chosen Genocide. Haha, that's perfect. I'll help you, Night."
