Mega able retro?

I just got a mega able bulbasaur retro, but i thought retros couldn't evolve.
So is it useless or should i start saving up for a megastone?

Retros Do not evolve. So, you cannot mega evolve it.

I thought so too but why is it mega able then if I can't evolve it?

They are Mega-Able simply because Bulbasaur IS a Mega-Able Pokemon! And who knows? Maybe It's mega will be released one day?

Yea can't evolve but it is still cool to have one.
