Liliana walked into the room and saw two beds. She flopped on the
one on the left. Her eyes slowly drifted before she fell
asleep.
She opened her eyes to see nothing but darkness. Then out of no
where, a small child walked up to her wearing a yellow sweater with
a pale green stripe.
"Greetings. I am Kesi. I have seen
watched both of you through this endless dark void." Kesi
giggled. "Do not worry. I will help
you through this terrible world." The child smiled at
Liliana before they disappeared.
She went over to Toriel. She was reading a
silly book.
"Up already, I see? Um, I want you to know how glad I am to have
someone here. There are so many old books I want to share. I want
to show you my favourite bug-hunting spot. I've also prepared a
curriculum for your education."
After this, Ginger zoned out from boredom.
"How to exit the RUINS?"
Ginger asked dully.
"Um... How about an exciting snail fact? Did you know that
snails... sometimes flip their digestive systems as they mature?
Interesting."
"How to exit the RUINS?"
Ginger asked again dully.
"... I have to do something. Stay here." Toriel went out of the
room.
"Ahead of us lies the end of the RUINS. A one-way exit to the rest
of the underground. I am going to destroy it. No one will ever be
able to leave again. Now be a good child and go upstairs." Toriel
told them strictly, and then went forward. Ginger followed her.
"Every human that falls down here meets the same fate. I have seen
it again and again. They come. They leave. They die. If both of you
leave the ruins, They.. ASGORE will
kill you. I am only protecting both of you, understand?" she slowly
walked forward.
"Both of you want to leave so badly? Hmph. There is only one
solution to this. Prove yourselves, Prove to me both of you are
strong enough to survive." The world darkened around them.
Mint's -who was watching from behind a rock- eyes widened before
she jumped out from her hiding place...
And took the slash for Toriel.
Toriel started horrified as Mint's HP slowly went down. Mint looked
up at Toriel and painfully smiled.
"Heh, maybe moving here after I got DT shots was a bad idea, but
I'm glad I met you Toriel." Mint gave one final painful smile
before she melted. Toriel slowly scooped up the goop as tears came
down her face. Her face darkened as she saw Ginger and Liliana
darkly smiling. She stood up.
"Mint was my only true friend. The one that understood me. The one
that made me laugh when I moved here." her head moved up, her eyes
glowing red.
"HOW COULD YOU?!" she sent an impossible to dodge rally of
fireballs, tears flowing rapidly down her face.
