"Oh oh oh! I think it's the other way around, sir. I mean, look at
me!" Ellis said jokingly, smirking. She did a little pose, with one
hand on her hip while the other rested on the side of her head. She
gave a tiny giggle as she stayed in that pose, waiting for the two
brothers reactions.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
I rolled my eyes jokingly and ruffled her hair, Kain just
giggled like a huge dork watching our antics. "So, you guys never
gave me an answer. Hot topic, dinner, and going to the bookstore
alright?" I asked, "Seems good to me, I guess we can decide on what
food we can eat once we leave Hot topic." Kain grinned.
Ellis made a small 'chu' noise as he ruffled her hair, and adjusted
her blue cat hat. "Okay~! I'm good with that plan~" She said,
smiling. She turned to look out the window, and noticed a car
swerving oddly. "H-hey, steer clear of him." I stammered pointing
to the car with a shaky-ish finger.

”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"Oh sh!t." I yelped and turned, trying to merge into the
other lane, but the car was already driving too quick, "Duck Kain!"
I yelled as he responded quickly, I undid my seat belt and grabbed
Ellis shielding her, and then I heard a loud crash as the two cars
collided. Everything had happened so fast "D-dammit.. I just paid
off my car this year.." I growled, glass from the front of the car
was impaled into my back.
"A-alain! Nono!" Ellis stammered as she heard the glass break,
knowing it would hurt him. She was pressed against the card door
against Alain. She felt her eyes prick with tears over he boy
protecting her. The car turned upside down, and she tried to keep
Alain from falling since his seatbelt was off. Once the car stopped
moving, I asked the others in a shaky voice "A-are you ok-okay?"
Her body was shaking in trauma, but she managed those few words.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"I-i'll call 911!" It was Kain's voice, he grabbed his
phone and dialed the number and held the phone up to his ear. After
about two minutes he spoke "They're coming!"
---
It was dark.. I could heard Ellis and Kain, they sounded so
worried. It hurt, it hurt a lot. Was this the end? There was so
much I wanted to do, I wanted to show Ellis around town, take her
places, make her happy. Since that was something I didn't own, I
heard sirens howling.. the ambulance? I never knew what happened,
as my eyelids grew heavy slowly closing them, slipping from my
consciousness.
Ellis held Alain tighter, sobbing into his shirt. The officers got
the three out, and they wanted her to let him go. How could she?
One of the only friends she had her, had practically sacrificed
himself for her. They put him one of the ambulances, and for a
check they made the other two go into the other. Ellis sat on one
of the seats as they rode to the hospital, her head in her hands as
she cried. Her sniffles and sobs echoed in the ambulance back, the
only noise except for the blaring sirens.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
Kain was probably the only one trying to keep calm "It's
happened a few times.. stuff like this happens quite frequently
here.. the only bad injury hes had though was that long scar on his
back though.. he covers a scar on his head with his messy hair..
and hes got quite a lot of them around his body, if you didn't pay
attention.. he's always been one to sacrifice himself for others,
take the blame.. sometimes I wonder if he can take it all." he
spoke out loud, mainly for Ellis to hear him out. "I'm pretty sure
at this point he's going to be making a fuss about his car, it was
pretty expensive, and he paid it off this year too." he spoke and
put a hand on Ellis's shoulder "Just stay strong, he'll hang in
there, I know it." he was looking at his brother. I know he
can...
Ellis looked up at Kain and wiped her eyes, giving him a slightly
quivering smile. "Th-thanks, Kain... I believe you." She said,
wiping her wet face with her shirt. She straightened her droopy
body, pushing her fallen hair out of her face as she smiled at the
younger brother next to her.

”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"T-that's pretty surprising, we've only just met." Kain
said looking at her nervously.
---Timeskip---
I slowly opened my eyes, it was bright, my pupils narrowed as I
adjusted to the light in the small room. I was in a hospital bed,
Kain was right next to me, and so was Ellis. "Are you alright
Ellis?" I quickly sat up, but immediately regretted it. The pain in
my back flared as I fell back into the bed, an anguished look on my
face. That hurt so bad, dear lord.. I thought, gritting my
teeth. I felt like I was fifteen again, back in the hospital room
with only the roof for comfort.
"Yeah..." Ellis said, but slipped her hand in his, squeezing it.
"Don't sit up, you need rest..." She said, flinching at the look on
his face. She had bandages wrapping her back up, since it was
slightly bruised from slamming into the door during the crash. She
had been worried, but she was less nervous since he was awake after
the long time he had been out cold as ice.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"At least your alright.." I sighed relieved, me and Kain
gave each other a look before we both said the same thing in sync
"Who's telling dad?" and it continued "I'm not." "Who's going to
tell him then?" "Just do it." I just shut my mouth, and he did the
same the both of us realizing we weren't getting anywhere.
"Guys, it's easier if you just rock paper scissors over it. Or
anything else." Ellis said, shaking her head at the two boys.
Introducing her palm to her face, she was glad she was an only
child for once. She had always wanted siblings... till she realized
how much they sucked.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
Kain looked over at Ellis "We've tried that, also many
other games some of our own invention. We didn't really get
anywhere." I spoke "That's not true, I won a game of thumb war."
"Wait, really? I don't remember that." Kain sighed. "Your hopeless
Kain." I grinned "Likewise Alain." Kain grinned. "Your not going to
break into a musical number, are you?" I asked. "We finish each
others~" Kain went on "Sentences." I finished. "I was afraid you
were going to say sandwiches." Kain looked at Alain "I am
hungry, but I also hate Frozen." I replied.
Ellis snickered at the two's antics, covering her mouth with her
hand. "You guys are such dorks..." She said, her eyes lighting up
with amusement. She shook her head, but kept giggling softly. She
looked over the two at the window, seeing birds flitting to and
fro.
((OOC: My post are soooo short ;;))
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"I wonder what happened to the guy driving the other car?
Actually better yet, what the hell happened to my car?" I
said, mildly irritated. "All I know is that I'm going to have to
walk to school, or ride a bike." Kain sighed. "That's too bad, you
won't be able to hear my jokes anymore." I grinned.
"Well, if you do walk or ride a bike to school, you will get really
fit! The ladies love a strong man~" Ellis purred, nudging Kain with
her elbow, the look on her face dorky, with a smirk plastered on
her lips. She looked up at him, still nudging his side like a dork.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"Oh do they really now?" Kain raised an eyebrow. I tried to
sit up, it hurt but I managed to sit up right trying my best to
ignore the pain "At least I get to skip school for a bit." I said.
"You need to stop doing stuff like this Alain." Kain put a hand on
Alain's forehead and flipped his messy hair up, revealing a
surprisingly big scar on his forehead "He's hiding stuff from you.
You should know that Ellis, but he cares about you, a lot. Enough
to put his life on the line." Kain said. "Shut up Hugh." I removed
his hand from my hair. "That's a new one." Kain muttered.
"I-I knew he was hiding things... And that he cares about me...
Heck, he almost killed himself trying to protect me in that car!"
Ellis said, scratching the back of her neck awkwardly, looking
down. She analyzed the scar till Alain pushed his hair back down
with an insult to Kain, and she looked back out the window.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"Well at least he's obvious. And that says a lot about him,
don't you think? This isn't the first time this has happened." Kain
sighed. I sighed "This place is a hellhole." "I'm aware of that."
Kain replied. "Crazy drivers, even crazier people. Getting battered
up like this is common here, probably why mom left us." I went on.
"I guess she had her reasons, but I mean you filled in that role.
You're a student, stay-at-home-mom, and a big brother." Kain said
"Stay-at-home-mom?" I raised my eyebrows at the word.
