"Darren, it's young. Don't blame it for being startled by a sound it's never heard before," Melody was disappointed in Darren really. He only cared about Cherry; and yet he let Phantom follow him which was extremely unusual. Melody turned to the young being, "So does your name have something to do with your power? Is it Rose?"

"How lovely, I hope you live a wonderful life," Melody felt bad for Rose, she was young and had no one to care for her. Melody couldn't take her; Darren was already terribly suspicious and would never let such an untrained alien go with her. Darren was always so protective of Melody. "So Darren, you wanna get going?"

Melody looked at Darren, did he look almost sorry for the young being? First he let Phantom follow him and now this? Melody turned to Rose, she seemed as though she'd already grown attached to Melody; was it right to leave her here? "Darren..." Melody started, unsure if she should say this. "Can she... come with us? You're already letting Phantom come, so what's one more being? She's young, she may get into trouble if we leave her..."

Darren mentally slapped himself in the face. "What the hell are you doing, softy?!?" He sighed, keeping his internal feelings to himself. "I guess, but only if it doesn't cause trouble. Then I'll kick her out." He stated firmly.

Melody let out a sigh of relief. "I'll be sure to keep her in line," Melody was worried for a moment that they might be leaving her."And when I leave I'll take her with me," Melody was definitely a cat person. She thought they were the cutest animals on earth. And though this was a being, not a housecat, Melody still thought it was cute and wanted to give it a home and teach it to love humans. "Guess what Rose? You get to come with us! Isn't that nice? I guess Darren here isn't a total buzzkill!" Melody joked.

Darren snorted, turning towards the road to his car. "Get in, ya odd bunch." He said, opening the back door to the old car. He would probably regret this decision later, but Melody seemed so happy with the little critter, he couldn't just say no.
