An example would be: I'm looking for an action packed comedy shounen! I don't care much for horror, so please try to keep that out.
An answer that fits the criteria would be something like Gintama, or Fairy Tail.
I'll start off.
I' looking for an anime with a female lead who gets embarrassed a lot. But this isn't serious and is mostly used for comedy. In other words, something like Watamote.

edit: I'm not looking for an anime atm because I've already got too many on my anime to watch list, but I had an idea on what to suggest so I thought I'd say it.

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun is a reeaally good one!
It's a romantic comedy about a girl who works for her very oblivious manga artist crush. ovo
It's more comedy than romance - almost like a parody of romance anime.
I'm currently looking for something light hearted and more on the funny side, but a bit of angst mixed in there is always good!! Romance is a meh but a bit it alright. Maybe one centred around two or more characters rather than just a single main??

That's always a good anime, and the animation is great as well since it's made by Bones.
How about an anime with a paranormal theme, but NOT a horror/thriller?

I'm looking for something preferably action with a lot of hand-to-hand combat. It's prefer if it had a male lead, yes.

I think Hajime no Ippo or Saint Seiya could be good choices
I'm looking for a anime that is cute and funny at the same time and has (preferably) a female main protagonist

How about Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai?
Kyoto Animation's works are mostly amazing.
(I'm STILL not sure whether the protagonist is male or female... It just feels like everyone is the protagonist.)
An anime that has great action scenes. I don't care about the protagonist's gender.
(I've already watched Fullmetal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop and One Punch Man.)

Yeah, Gainax's works are great too.
...Which is why I suggest Gurren Lagann. It's from the same studio and it's amazing.
I'm also wondering which is the best Gundam anime.

I've heard that bleach is amazing. If you like Naruto you'd probably like any other of the big 4(Naruto, Dragon Ball z, Bleach, and One Piece.)
