Alright, so.. Not sure if this was suggested before. Basicly, I was on a feed where you had to feed a certain pokemon to level 81, the one who made it level 81 would get 5k. People were fighting over it along with myself. So I thought, why not add a level tracker for pokemon or a hatching tracker for eggs?

There could be an item which would allow you to keep track of who leveled up your pokemon, or who hatched the egg. It would be called the PokeTracker. You can suggest different names, this is what I came up with. It would be in the "Key Items" section and would cost 5000 PD.

PokéTracker

A device used to track down a pokemon's level or an egg's hatching time.

You would be able to turn it on and off and set it up to 5 pokemon/eggs. There would be a notification alert when someone either hatched your egg or raised your pokemon to a certain level.

Well, I'm not too sure about a level tracker. I can see how it could be useful for raffles such as your example; though as your explanation is now, there'd only be a notification it reached the level (without any additional information), so I'm not quite sure it'll really be all that helpful in figuring out who exactly leveled it up.
So I guess I'm neutral?

For the 'egg tracker', you just need to turn on 'notification pop-ups' (in misc. settings) and the second one of your eggs hatch, a pop-up will appear, telling you so ;)

I meant about who hatched the egg, not when it hatches. Probably was a misunderstanding, sorry ^^
Anyway, I guess it could just be a notification. I'm just trying to be creative.

It could be a simple thing:
Fuku Ryu has reached the target level 3,000.
The user Zona fed it a Oran Berry to get there. [New Level Goal?]

Or, for the sake of an egg:
Egg hatched into Male Shroomish by HipsterHenry [Choose a Level Goal?]


The urls are place holders, as it obviously doesn't exist, lol. (Though I did put actual existing links there >.< ) But I think this is actually a neat idea.

And maybe having a history of previously reached goals to view would be a neat feature to add on to this as well. No links, though, just a log.

I'll give the 'idea' my support, though, how exactly can still be figured out :P

The 'Tracker' could maybe be bought/used to keep the 'history' of previously reached goal? Or an extension - for example, you'll be able to track one, regardless, but if you want to track more, you need the 'tracker'? just throwing it out there

Though, what would happen to released eggs (that were tracked)? Would their data also be deleted from the log, or would it still be mentioned, as it's not a link, so there's no way to track it either way?
(just curious, to be honest)

About the missing eggs, there would probably be a pop-up, but when you're directed to the page, it would say the simple "ERROR! This egg/pokemon doesn't exist!" string we all know and love.

bumping a seven year old suggestion because it would be very useful for the raylong quest (as well as giveaways that end when a pokemon reaches a certain level, pokemon reaching milestones, etc)
(it'd be useful because then you don't have to keep refreshing the notification page/the party page/your profile to check whether the mon has reached level 100 because you'd get a notification! same as when eggs hatch)
(could also be very useful for trying to reach milestones like level 1k, 2k, 3k, etc and wanting to make giveaways for them!)
