I was wondering if there could be a item that makes EVERY pokemon (including events and retros, and the ones from the game center) count towards your chain? Like if I wanted to hunt retro charmander. I could turn the Chain Breaker on and it would count for my chain. But it would need to be very expensive (like 300k pd for each time you turn it on) and you would have to pay whenever you want to turn it on. That way, shiny retros and game center poke's are still worth a lot. And they will be hard to chain too, because you cant breed them and ANY pokemon could break you chain because you would have to have the chain breaker on all the time when you are hunting. Say if there is an event going on and you want the event pokemon. You would have to turn the chain breaker off and then you would have to pay AGAIN to turn it back on. Please support this idea! Thanks!

But why?

The chances are currently 1/50 for shiny retros, which is actually better than a non-premium user can shiny chain (since 1/50 is 2%)

Your method would take away the fairness for all users that is currently in place, since premium members would still have better percentages. Plus, right now, ANYONE can hatch a shiny retro, even if they don't have a lot of PD, they can get lucky with concentration, a rumble area, or the lab/daycare.

True, but I mean, say if you wanted to hunt a pokemon that requires a voucher (besides the retros) Because getting a shiny lugia is about a 1:1mil + chance.

But that also isn't fair to the people who got the vouchers for shiny Lugia

Lugia has ALWAYS been the lottery prize, and yes it's difficult. It's a legendary pokemon. And unlike the map legends, getting Lugia vouchers isn't that difficult, there are users trying for the shiny who end up with at least 50 vouchers each day just from the sheer amount of tickets they buy.

Actually, now that I think about it, the only pokemon this would work for would be Mewton and the Lake Trio. Mewton doesn't have a shiny form, and I'm pretty sure Tobi is planning something else for the lake trio shinies.
