Chapter One: The Journey
Emily woke up and rubbed her eyes. She looked at her clock, then got out of bed fast. I'm almost late for my pokemon journey!, she thought. She brushed her teeth, combed her long, straight blonde hair, got dressed into some pink shorts and a neon purple t-shirt, then ran downstairs. Her mom was holding a pokeball. "Emily, this is for you. Open it once you get your starter." Her mom said, handing Emily the pokeball. "Thanks." She replied fast, shoving the pokeball into her pocket, then grabbing a granola bar. She grabbed the suitcase she prepared last night. It contained a jacket, some berries, some other food, clothes, and a picture of her mom. She grabbed her satchel and put the strap over her shoulder. "Bye, mom!" Emily said, taking a bite of her granola bar, and heading out the door.

Emily rushed into the lab, with her suitcase and her satchel. "Welcome. My name is Professor Chip." The Professor said. "Hi! I'm Emily." Emily replied, walking over to the Professor's desk. The Professor got the 3 pokeballs out. The 3 starters popped out. "Pick one." Professor Chip said. Emily looked at the Charmander, the Bulbasaur and the Squirtle. Emily grabbed the Bulbasaur's pokeball. The bulbasaur jumped into Emily's arms.
