"Alright, everyone buckle in!" Jamison drives to Route 1. When he gets there he parks his car. "Okay everyone, let's go find some Pokemon!"

Luna carefully climbs into the car, careful to not knock over her partner. Once settled, she buckled up and they drove off to Route 1.
When they arrived, she got out and looked around- there was plenty of grass, so they should be able to find some wild Pokémon nearby.

however, on the end of all those Grass, there was an ramp

Miguel points to some Rocks conveniently sized like stairs

"we can walk on the other Route using our legs by walking on that conveniently-shaped rocks that look like stairs like normal people should do!"

Jamison starts laughing. "Cars don't walk! XD" He gets out of the car and joins the others in the grass looking for Pokemon. He finds a boring Ratatta. "Ugh, knock it out Squirtle." Squirtle one-hits it with a Tackle (it was level 1) and returns to his Pokeball. "Anyone find something good?" Jamison asks.

"Hmm... Do you see anything, Alphy?" Luna asked her partner, whom she'd decided to call Alphy.
Alphy, sitting atop her trainer's head, looked around but replied with downcast chirps.

Jamison walked up the rock stairs. "You guys hear that?" he says. He walks carefully into the tall grass and finds a Pidgey!

Jamison sends out Damien to attack the Pidgey. "Bubble Beam!" Damien uses Bubble Beam and weakens the Pidgey. Jamison turns to his friends. "Anyone wanna capture this?"

He seems skilled... Has he battled before? Luna thought as she and Alphy watched Damison and his Pokémon battle the wild one. "I-I'd prefer to catch my Pokémon on my own." She answered.

(I wasn't using Squirtle. I was using Damien, my lvl 98 everstoned Piplup from Sinnoh)
"Suit yourself!" Jamison say as he throws a Pokeball at the Pidgey.
1 wobble...
2 wobbles...
3 wobbles...
caught! "Yay I have a Pidgey!" Jamison says. "I'm not gonna name it though, I'll just put it in my boxes later."

(Sorry I'm not too active, school D:)

Rebecca saw the others leave in the car. She sighed. Her starter, Fennekin, popped out of it's pokeball. She smiled. Then, Cocoa popped out of her pokeball. Cocoa looked down at the Fennekin from Rebecca's shoulder. "It's okay. The Fennekin is my starter." She whispered to Cocoa. Then, she remembered something. She grabbed a purple pokedex from a shelf marked "Free for New Trainers." She hovered the pokedex over her Fennekin. She found out that the Fennekin was a boy. "I'll call you... Flame." She said, smiling. Flame smiled back. Rebecca put Flame back in his pokeball. She walked out of the lab. "Now... I should probably get to Route 1..." She said to herself. She saw a sign marked "Route 1, this way", and there was a path behind it. She followed the path silently.

Jamison suddenly remembers something. "Oh my gosh, we forgot Rebecca!" he yells as he runs toward his car. "I should probably go get her!"
Jamison drives until he gets to Rebecca. "Hey!" He calls to her. "Need a ride?"

Jamison drives back over to Route 1. "The others aren't too far ahead so I think we can catch up easily. He parks the car and they start walking towards the rock stairwell.
