Chapter One

Leaf waddled down the road to the Pokemon High School. She had her books in her bag, and she was ready to start school. She opened the door and headed inside. She saw tons and tons of Pokemon. Some were huddled in groups, others were laughing, others were standing alone, and others were grabbing things from their lockers. She waddled forward, and accidentally bumped into another Pokemon. Leaf quickly got to her paws and looked at the Pokemon. It was a Shiny Butterfree. The Butterfree quickly got up and flapped its pink shimmering wings a few times.
"I-I'm sorry..." The Butterfree whispered.
Leaf grabbed the Butterfree's bag and gave it to the Butterfree.
"My name's Leaf." Leaf said.
The Butterfree put the bag back onto its back. "My name is Flutter..." Flutter murmured.
Flutter flew away hurriedly. Leaf tried to run after her, but Flutter was already out of sight. Leaf continued to waddle through the crowds, and she found a shiny Poliwag sitting by itself. Leaf waddled over to the Poliwag.
"Hi there! My name is Leaf." Leaf smiled.
"My name is Polly..." The Poliwag murmured.
Leaf hurriedly ran over to her locker and pulled out the schedule for the day. She quickly put her bag into the locker. She pulled the books out of her bag, and put them onto a shelf of the locker. She quickly grabbed the book she needed, and shut the locker. Then, the bell rang. She quickly waddled to her first class. She sat in a seat and waited for the teacher to come in. She glanced around the room. She saw lots of Pokemon. Flutter and Polly aren't here... She thought. The teacher went into the room. She looked at the teacher. It was a Vivillon with snow-patterned wings.
"Hello, class. I will be your teacher this semester. My name is Ms. Blizzard." Ms. Blizzard announced. Ms. Blizzard lowered herself to the chair.
Leaf payed attention.

Chapter Two

Flutter flew into the cafeteria. She had her bagged lunch with her. She flew up and sat on a high place. A Pidgey flew up and sat next to her. Flutter opened her lunch and pulled out a small sandwich. She ate the sandwich and flew out of the cafeteria. She flew over to her locker. It was high up on the wall. She put the lunch bag into the locker, and grabbed the book she needed. She shut the locker and then the bell rang. She quickly flew to her next class, avoiding the rushing crowds below. She flew into the class, where she saw tons of flying Pokemon. Then, she realized. This is flying class! Quickly, she flew onto a floating desk. A Noivern flew into the class and swooped onto the teacher's desk.
"Hello, class." A low voice grumbled.
She realized it was the Noivern.
"My name is Mr. Vern. I will be your teacher for this semester." Mr. Vern grumbled.
Flutter nodded hesitantly.
"Listen up." Mr. Vern grumbled on. Flutter looked at the teacher.
"You will be put to the test today. You will be judged. You will be going through floating obstacles." Mr. Vern continued to grumble.
Flutter looked at the desk she was on. Mr. Vern called on the Pidgey that Flutter saw at Lunch. After a while of Pokemon being called on, it finally was Flutter's turn. As Flutter flew over to the starting point, she heard a bunch of boy Pokemon pointing at her and laughing. She overheard what they were saying.
"Hah! She can't do anything!" Some boys were saying to each other. Then, the lead Pokemon whispered something to the others, and they all burst out laughing.
"Boys, settle down please. Three, two, one, GO!" Mr. Vern grumbled.
Flutter flew quickly through the hoops. As she neared the last few obstacles, she felt something being thrown at her, and she tumbled to the ground. The boys laughed as hard as they could. Flutter flew up and flew back over to her desk. She was embarrassed. How could they do that? Flutter thought. Then, the bell rang. Flutter flew out of class as quick as she could, and hid up high.

~More Possibly Later~

The Eevee sat down in the forest. She curled her fluffy tail around her.
"Hey, there you are, Mimi!" A Glaceon said, running over to where Mimi sat.
"Oh, hi Ice!" Mimi replied.
Ice frowned. "Your mom is looking for you. Come on." Ice continued.
Mimi sighed and got up. She followed Ice back to her home.
"Bye, Ice." Mimi sighed.
"Bye." Ice replied.
Mimi glanced around. Her home was a small, mossy cave. She slowly went inside. Her mom, a Vaporeon, was sitting down in the middle of the cave. Mimi's father had died when she was born. Mimi sat down next to her mom. Her mom flicked her tail, and she sent four berries tumbling over to Mimi. Mimi ate them all.
"I was looking for you. I looked for you everywhere. Where were you?" Her mom asked.
"In the forest." Mimi mumbled.
Her mom sighed. "What have I told you about going into the forest late at night?"
"That its bad and I could get lost..."
Her mom nodded. "Now, come on. Get some rest."
Mimi laid down on the moss that was her bed. Her mom nodded and continued sitting. Mimi closed her eyes and fell asleep.

The next day, Mimi woke up. There were two berries next to her. She ate them hurriedly, and ran out of the cave. She bumped into two Flareon, and a Espeon. One of the Flareon turned around and glared at Mimi. The other Flareon and the Espeon looked at Mimi and laughed. They laughed so hard that they fell onto the ground.
"What are you doing here, little Eevee?" The first Flareon asked sarcastically.
The second Flareon stood up and advanced towards Mimi.
"You're not special. You're only a little Eevee!" The second Flareon laughed.
The Espeon stood up and advanced towards Eevee.
"You're not like us! Now leave!" The Espeon yelled.
The first Flareon grinned and put a ring of fire around Mimi. Mimi curled up in fear. The three of them laughed as the ring of fire closed in. Mimi uncurled herself, and stood up. The fire burnt her fur slightly as she jumped over the flames. She ran as far as she could from the three bullies. Tears pricked Mimi's eyes. Mimi laid down on a mossy stone. She cried and cried.
"Are you okay?" Mimi hear a voice say.
She got up abruptly and turned to face the Pokemon who spoke. It was an Eevee, like Mimi.
"Why were you crying? You're a shiny Eevee! You're so special!" The Eevee exclaimed.
"I am?" Mimi turned and she saw that her fur was silver.
"Besides, you're in Eevee Land, now." The Eevee continued.
"What's Eevee Land?"
"Eevee Land is a place where an Eevee can be an Eevee, and no Pokemon will judge. Oh, and my name is Lilly."
"Hi, Lilly. But, I'm a shiny Eevee, do I still belong here?"
Lilly widened her eyes. "You're the long lost princess, aren't you? Come on, I must show you to the King and Queen."
Mimi followed Lilly, and she found a huge kingdom filled with no other Pokemon but Eevee. They entered the castle. The King was a shiny Eevee, but his fur was golden. The Queen was a shiny Eevee as well, but her fur was light pink. The Queen got off of her throne and ran over to Mimi.
"Oh my goodness, my princess. Come with me." The Queen murmured.
Mimi followed the Queen, completely unaware of what was happening. Some Eevee with black armor escorted Lilly out of the castle. Mimi saw the Queen enter a room. Mimi slowly entered the room. The room had silver walls and a gold floor. There was a large bed in the corner of the room. The blanket was made of silk. There was a large closet.
"This is your room now, Princess. What is your name?" The Queen said kindly.
Mimi took a good look at the Queen. The Queen was wearing a light blue dress that extended to the floor. The Queen had her neck fur fluffed up, and it looked pretty.
"My name is Mimi." Mimi whispered.
"Oh, Princess Mimi. What a wonderful name. My name is Queen Lavender." Queen Lavender replied politely.
"Now, get settled here, and I'll be back soon."
Queen Lavender left the room. Mimi looked around. It was amazing that the King and Queen had prepared this for her. Mimi laid down in the bed, and pulled up the blanket. She fell asleep on the bed.

Mimi woke up and got out of bed. She opened the closet and saw that there were only dresses. But I want to look normal... She thought. She quickly grabbed a short pink dress. She put it on and it barely went over her tail. She exited her room and walked down the hallway. She went into the kitchen and saw that Queen Lavender and the King were already seated at the table. Mimi quickly took her seat, and looked at them. A platter filled with different exotic berries were placed down. Some were boiled, some were scrambled, some were baked into cookies or small cakes, and some were just regular. Mimi grabbed one of the cakes gently with her silver paw, and took little bites. It tasted very good. After the meal was finished, she slowly got up and left the kitchen. She wondered what she would do now. She wondered what her mother would think. Mimi looked around the hallway. There was a small ladder leading down. Mimi decided to go down there because no one was looking. She quietly went down the ladder, but one of her back paws slipped and she fell all the way down. She landed on her paws, however, and she only got a bruise on her back left paw. It was very dark at the bottom. Mimi was very scared. She slowly began to walk down the hallway. "Help...me..." Someone moaned. Mimi jumped because of the sound. She slowly continued, and she saw a small unlit lamp. She quickly lit it, and she saw that it was a dungeon. She wondered why this had happened.

*In this book, I will refer to Frisk as a female, because it is very difficult to write a story with they/them pronouns.*

Frisk woke up and got out of bed.
"Good morning, my child." Toriel whispered, coming into Frisk's room.
"Morning, mom." Frisk replied. Frisk grabbed her blanket and straightened it out. She gave Toriel a hug.
"Hey, kid." Sans said, coming into Frisk's room.
"Hi, uncle!" Frisk responded, running into Sans' open arms.
A light blue glowing light surrounded Frisk. Frisk was lifted into the air.
"Come ON, Sans! Again?!" Frisk protested.
"Put Frisk down, Sans." Toriel told Sans.
Sans proceeded to swing Frisk around a little, but then gently put Frisk onto the ground. Sans walked over to Frisk.
"Sorry, kid. I was havin' too much fun." Sans said.
Frisk grinned. She raced out of her bedroom. As Frisk ran down the stairs, she smelled a good scent coming from the kitchen. Frisk entered the kitchen and saw Papyrus making spaghetti.
"Good morning, human! I am making some of my gourmet spaghetti for you!" Papyrus announced.
Frisk smiled.
"For breakfast? Come on, Papy! You know the kid can't handle it!" Undyne yelled, running into the kitchen from the Living Room.
"Don't noogie the skeleton!" Papyrus protested, dropping the pot of spaghetti he was making. "Oh, no! The spaghetti!" Papyrus cried. Papyrus knelt down and tried desperately to find some clean spaghetti.
"Oh, come on, Papy." Undyne muttered. She knelt down next to him and cleaned up the spaghetti.
"Do not worry. I will bake something for us all!" Toriel told them. Toriel went over to the oven and began to gather ingredients.
Frisk sat down at a chair at the kitchen table. Alphys ran into the kitchen.
"S-Sorry I'm late..." Alphys whispered.
Undyne got up and ran to Alphys, embracing her in a hug.
"Come on, Alphys! You aren't late!" Undyne yelled.
Frisk smiled at Alphys. Sans sat down in a chair next to Frisk.
"Oh, hi uncle." Frisk said to Sans. Sans didn't smile back.
"Sans? Is something wrong?"
Sans didn't reply.
"Sans?"
Papyrus came over to the table. "Sans? Why are you not speaking?" Papyrus asked.
Sans looked up at everyone.
"No reason, its okay." Sans said, forcing a smile.
Frisk sighed, but she knew not to fight with Sans. Toriel came over with a steaming hot Butterscotch-Cinnamon pie. She gently put the pie down on the center of the table.
"Oh, yes Toriel! That's your best pie yet!" Papyrus exclaimed.
Undyne nodded. Papyrus sat down next to Sans at the table. Toriel sat down at the table, and so did Undyne and Alphys.
"Let us wait for it to cool, first." Toriel said. Toriel began to talk to Papyrus, and Undyne began to talk to Alphys.
After a while of talking, Toriel got out the knife and began to cut the pie. She laid out six plates, and put a slice of pie on each one. Toriel passed out a plate to everyone, and everyone began to eat.
"I'm not hungry..." Sans whispered, and then teleported.
Frisk ate the pie quickly, and then went outside to play. She went into the forest behind the house. She climbed up a tree and looked down. She glanced around and saw a light blue glow. She quickly climbed down the tree and ran over to where she saw the glow. She hid behind a tree and saw Sans letting out his anger on one of the trees. Frisk climbed up the tree as quietly as possible, and then hid in the leaves. She peeked out and saw Sans coming closer to her.
"Who's there?" Sans said angrily.
He closed his eyes, and then a light blue glow surrounded Frisk.
"Let me go, Sans! Why are you being like this?" She screamed.
She saw tears in the corners of Sans' eyes. He threw her up in the air. Frisk screamed, and she landed back at the house, with only 15 HP.
"Frisk!" They screamed. They all surrounded her.
"Human?" Papyrus whispered.
Undyne helped Frisk up. "Who did this to you?" Undyne nearly yelled.
"...Sans..." Frisk mumbled.
"My brother?......" Papyrus whispered.
Just then, Sans teleported in.
"Sans! Stop! You're going to kill Frisk!" Toriel yelled.
Toriel stood in front of Frisk. Sans shoved her to the side. Toriel collapsed onto the floor. Alphys & Undyne stood in front of Frisk next.
"Sans! Stop it, now!" They yelled.
Sans shoved them both to the side. They collapsed onto the floor. Papyrus stood in front of Frisk.
"Sans! What is wrong with you? You're going to kill the human!" Papyrus yelled.
Sans hesitated and then shoved Papyrus to the side. Papyrus collapsed to the floor. Undyne suddenly got up and shoved Sans away from Frisk.
"You're gonna have to try harder than that!" Undyne yelled.
Sans angrily looked at her. He threw bones at her, but they were quickly blocked by spears. Toriel quickly got up and took Undyne's place.
"All of you, run! Get Frisk to a safe place!" Toriel yelled.
Sans hesitantly threw more bones at her, and she set them aflame. Papyrus quickly grabbed Frisk into his arms, and they all ran. They ran out into the forest. They found a massive tree, and they climbed up. They hid in one of the large branches. Frisk sat on the branch and began to cry.
"Human? Don't worry. Sans won't hurt you anymore." Papyrus whispered.
Frisk continued to cry.
"Frisk, Toriel's taking care of him. Toriel is strong." Undyne said.
Frisk looked up at her.
"She's going to die!" Frisk sobbed.
Alphys and Undyne gently patted Frisk on the back. Papyrus handed Frisk a small plate of spaghetti.
"Toriel will be fine, okay? She'll save us. She'll save you." Undyne said.
Frisk smiled through her tears and ate the spaghetti. After she ate, she hugged her friends.
"Thank you, guys." Frisk whispered.
"I-I'm su-sure you w-would do the s-same for u-us." Alphys stuttered.
Then, Frisk saw Sans come into view. Toriel was collapsed at his feet. Sans grinned and one of his eyes glowed blue.
"Brother! Stop!" Papyrus yelled, jumping off the tree and running to his brother.
Sans looked strange. His legs were wrapped in vines. Frisk sighed. Sans hesitated, but then began to throw bones and fire gaster blasters at his brother. Papyrus blocked them with his own bones. Alphys jumped off of the tree, and Undyne grabbed Frisk and jumped off the tree. They ran further into the forest. They climbed up another tree. Undyne gently put Frisk down onto the branch. Frisk looked at them both.
"I can't believe that you guys are still here, protecting me..." Frisk whispered.
Undyne grinned. "You let all the monsters go free from the UNDERGROUND, punk! Of course we'll protect you." Undyne said.
Frisk smiled. "Thanks, Undyne." Frisk replied.
Then, Sans showed up. Papyrus was collapsed at his feet. Alphys climbed down from the tree before Undyne could do anything. Frisk noticed that Sans' body was now encased in vines. Frisk quickly jumped down from the tree.
"A-Alphys! Don't do it!" Undyne yelled.
Alphys didn't look back. Undyne sighed and ran alongside Frisk. This time, they hid in a bush. Frisk began to cry.
"Frisk. Look, I need to tell you something." Undyne said.
Frisk looked at Undyne and wiped away her tears.
"Sans is probably going to come soon. I want you to know that I'll be there. You just have to run." Undyne whispered.
Frisk nodded and then peeked through the bushes. Sans was walking up. Frisk jumped out of the bush along with Undyne. Sans had vines growing all the way up to his neck. Frisk grabbed her Worn Dagger. She never thought she would need to use this, but now was the time. She held the Worn Dagger out in front of her. Sans grinned.
"You're gonna have a bad time." He said in a voice that wasn't his own. "Flowey! What have you done to Sans?" Frisk screamed.
Flowey popped out of Sans' head.
"Howdy! Did you miss little old me? Hee hee hee! Of course you didn't." Flowey snapped, grinning.
"You gave us our happy ending, now why are you here?" Frisk replied, her voice quivering.
"Oh, do you REALLY think I would tell YOU? It doesn't matter. Soon, you'll be dead. And then I CAN POSSESS YOU, AND TAKE OVER." Flowey said evilly.
He descended back into Sans' head, and proceeded forward.

"Leave me alone, Sans!" Frisk yelled as bones rained down.
Frisk swiftly avoided them. Some gaster blasters showed up and blasted white beams at her. She quickly jumped over the beams and looked at him. Sans grinned again.
"Hmm... You're not dead, huh?" He said in Flowey's voice.
Lots of gaster blasters surrounded Frisk, but she couldn't get out in time. 6 more HP... Frisk thought. Frisk tried to swipe at the vines with the Worn Dagger, but Sans dodged it.
"You think I'm just gonna stand there and take it?" Sans said in his regular voice.
Sans surrounded Frisk with bones, and made bones rain from the sky. Frisk narrowly avoided the bones, and jumped out of the circle of bones. As she landed, she tried to strike Sans. Sans dodged again, and Frisk landed carefully. Sans sent out more gaster blasters, and Frisk didn't dodge one. 1 more HP... Frisk thought, collapsing to the ground.

With blurry vision, she looked up at Sans. She smiled weakly, seeing Sans getting ready for the final blow. She laid back, and closed her eyes. She remembered how she freed the monsters from the UNDERGROUND. She remembered when she had met Toriel. She remembered when she left the RUINS, and entered Snowdin. She remembered when she met Sans and Papyrus. She remembered when she went to Waterfall, and met Undyne. She remembered everyone. She opened her eyes again and saw a gaster blaster right in front of her face. She smiled, and remembered all her friends. This is for them! She thought.

**NOTE: Turn off the music here!**

The gaster blaster was about to fire, but then Undyne ran and shoved Frisk to the side. Undyne threw a Cinnamon Bun at Frisk. Frisk hurriedly ate it and restored her HP. Undyne was blasted by the gaster blaster, and she lost "all" her HP. Undyne grinned. Her bottom half began to waver.
"Heh, d-don't try to kill Frisk, if you know what's good for you, you coldhearted friend thief!" Undyne shouted. "Right now, I can feel everyone's heart beating together. All with the same desire, to destroy YOU. And now, I'm going to fulfill that desire!" Undyne yelled. "Ngahhh!" Undyne screamed as she disintegrated, and then reappeared. "You're going to have to try harder than THAT!" Undyne shouted.

Undyne threw spears at Sans. He dodged all of them. He threw bones at Undyne, but they were quickly blocked by spears.
"Sans ...no...WHATEVER YOU ARE... Don't try to KILL ME!" Undyne shouted.
Undyne flipped backwards and deflected Sans' bones with her feet. Frisk began to stand up, but then Frisk was enveloped with a light blue glow. She was thrown into a tree, and forced to watch them fight. Undyne managed to hit the vines with her spear. She grinned, but the vines grew back. Sans took this time to hit Undyne with a few bones. Undyne was barely hurt, but was surprised. Undyne managed to hit Sans directly a few times, and he sat down. Flowey escaped from him, and grinned. Frisk ran over.

Blood spilled out his open wound.
"Sans! I-I...." Undyne stuttered.
"YOU!" Frisk yelled, blocking Flowey's way.
Flowey grinned. "You idiot! In this world.... ITS KILL OR BE KILLED." Flowey screamed, vines instantly encasing Undyne, Sans, Papyrus, Toriel, Alphys and Asgore.
"Not again, Flowey!" Frisk yelled.
Flowey grinned as the other monsters showed up. The world went white for a moment as Flowey absorbed the monster SOULS. When the world turned back to normal, a small goat appeared. The goat turned around.
"Howdy! It's your friend..." The goat began.
Then, the goat turned into an adult goat and began to fly around.
"A S R I E L D R E E M U R R." Asriel said.

Asriel smiled at Frisk. Frisk just sat down and hoped for the best. Asriel threw stars at her, and Frisk dodged.
"You know, I won't talk to you. You already know the dialog, don't you?" Asriel said, shaking.
Frisk dreamed. She felt clouds enter her pockets, lifting her up to meet Asriel. Frisk kept dodging Asriel's attacks, and kept holding on and dreaming.
"You know what? Up until now, I've been using only a FRACTION of my REAL power. Let's see how good your 'determination' is against this!" Asriel yelled, getting wider and wider.
The world began to turn white again. Then, Asriel had multicolored wings.

"Urahahaha!" Asriel cackled.
Frisk struggled, but couldn't move. Frisk struggled again, but couldn't move. Frisk tried to reset, but she couldn't reach her SAVE file. She tried again to reach her SAVE file, but she couldn't. She shrugged and tried to SAVE something else, her friends.

Frisk called out Sans and Papyrus' names. She hoped they were in there. Suddenly, something resonated in Asriel's SOUL. She saw the two lost souls. She told a bad pun about skeletons to them. One of them hated it, but one of them loved it. She quickly leaped over the bone attacks. She asked if one of them could teach her to cook. The lost soul couldn't hide its joy. Suddenly, the memories flooded back. Papyrus and Sans returned to normal.

"Come on, Petunia! I bet you won't make it!" Ginger screamed, running up Mount Ebott.
"This isn't a good idea, Ginger!" Petunia yelled, scrambling up the mountain after her sister.
"Its no big deal! Come onn!" Ginger yelled.
Ginger stopped, and Petunia bumped into her.
"There's an unstable ledge ahead. And there is a huge hole beneath it. Let's be careful." Ginger whispered.
As Ginger carefully walked over the ledge, she peered over the edge. It was a long way down. Petunia was alongside her. Suddenly, the ledge crumbled beneath their feet.
"Ahhh!" They screamed, plunging down into the hole.

Petunia woke up first. She sat up and looked around. Ginger was beside her. Ginger hadn't woken up yet. They were both on a bed of golden flowers. Petunia sighed. Petunia stood up and began to explore the underground place where they were. Petunia saw a small hallway leading somewhere. Petunia looked back and saw Ginger stand up.
"Come on, Ginger!" Petunia said.
Ginger ran towards Petunia. They walked side by side along the hallway. Soon, they saw a large black gate. They went through the gate and found a small clearing with a small golden flower. Petunia slowly walked forward.
"Howdy! I'm Flowey! Flowey the Flower!" The flower said.
"Did that flower just... talk?" Ginger muttered.
"Hmm... You're new to the UNDERGROUND, aren'tcha?" Flowey continued.
Petunia nodded.
"Golly, you two must be so confused." Flowey said.
Petunia nodded again.
"Someone ought to teach you how things work around here!" Flowey exclaimed.
"I guess little old me will have to do." Flowey continued. "Ready? Here we go!"
Two hearts appeared in front of Ginger and Petunia. Petunia's heart was a dark purple, and Ginger's heart was a dark brown.
"See that heart? That is your SOUL, the very culmination of your being!" Flowey explained.
Petunia smiled at the heart in front of her.
"Your SOUL starts off weak, but can grow strong if you gain a lot of LV." Flowey continued.
Level? Ginger thought. Ginger already loved this plan.
"What does LV stand for? Why, LOVE, of course!" Flowey exclaimed.
"You want some LOVE, don't you?" Flowey continued.
Ginger nodded.
"Don't worry, I'll share some with you!" Flowey exclaimed. Flowey winked and then small white twirling pellets formed around him. "Down here, LOVE is shared through... Little white... 'Friendliness pellets.'" Flowey continued. "Are you ready? Move around! Get as many as you can!" Flowey exclaimed.
The friendliness pellets floated around the two SOULS. Petunia moved her SOUL, and moved into a friendliness pellet. Instantly, she fell to the ground. One HP left... Petunia thought. Ginger steered her SOUL away from the friendliness pellets, from fear of what happened to Petunia.
"You idiots." Flowey spat, grinning wide.
Petunia looked at Flowey with blurred vision.
"In this world, it's kill or BE killed." Flowey yelled.
"Why would ANYONE pass up an opportunity like this!?" Flowey continued.
The pellets circled both SOULS.
"Die." Flowey yelled. As the pellets closed in, Flowey laughed demonically.
But just as they were about to die, the pellets disappeared and they were both healed. Petunia quickly got up. Flowey looked surprised. A fireball showed up and it hit Flowey. Flowey was whisked away with the fireball. A female adult goat came into sight.
"What a terrible creature, torturing such poor innocent youth..." The goat said.
Ginger looked up at her doubtfully. How could she trust this goat if that flower had nearly killed Petunia?
"Ah, do not be afraid, my children. I am TORIEL, caretaker of the RUINS." The goat continued.
Petunia smiled.
"I pass through this place every day to see if anyone has fallen down." Toriel said.
Ginger held out a stick menacingly.
"You are the first humans to come here in a long time." Toriel continued.
Petunia looked worried.
"Come! I will guide you through the catacombs." Toriel whispered.
The SOULS disappeared. They must only appear during a fight Petunia thought.
"This way." Toriel announced.
Toriel walked upwards. Petunia followed, along with Ginger. They passed through a large purple gate, and there was a purple floor and some red framing on the other side. There were two sets of stairs, and there were red leaves. Petunia stood near the red leaves. The shadow of the ruins loomed above, filling Petunia and Ginger with determination. She went up one flight of silver stairs. Toriel went through a purple doorway. They followed her. They stopped when Toriel turned to them. There was a pathway, and there was a sign, and there was a lever and a couple huge buttons on the ground.
"Welcome to your new home, innocent ones. Allow me to educate you in the operation of the RUINS." Toriel told them.
She stepped on four buttons, and then flipped the lever. The door to the next room instantly opened. Toriel stopped and turned to them from in front of the doorway.
"The RUINS are full of puzzles. Ancient fusions between diversions and doorkeys." Toriel continued. "One must solve them to move from room to room. Please adjust yourself to the sight of them." Toriel said.
Petunia took a closer look at the buttons. Then, Petunia followed Toriel out of the room. Ginger went to the sign.
"Only the fearless may proceed. Brave ones, foolish ones. Both walk not the middle road." Ginger read out loud. She shrugged and quickly followed them.
"To make progress here, you will need to trigger several switches. Do not worry, I have labelled the ones that you need to flip." Toriel said.
She continued down the middle path, over the small bridge. Ginger went over to the sign on the wall, while Petunia quickly followed Toriel.
"Stay on the path." Ginger read out loud. Ginger narrowed her eyes and quickly followed. Toriel waited in front of the next bridge. Petunia quickly went up to the lever that had arrows pointing to it. She flipped the switch and followed Toriel across the bridge. Toriel waited in front of a spike trap. Petunia saw two levers. She pressed the labelled switch and the spikes disappeared.
"Splendid! I am proud of you, little one." Toriel said to Petunia.
Petunia smiled and followed Toriel to the next room. Ginger examined the room, and then followed hesitantly.
"As a human living in the UNDERGROUND, monsters may attack you. You will need to be prepared for this situation." Toriel told the two children.
Petunia noticed the dummy.
"However, worry not! The process is simple." Toriel continued. "When you encounter a monster, you will enter a FIGHT. While you are in a FIGHT, strike up a friendly conversation." Toriel began.
Ginger glared at Toriel. You're supposed to fight in a FIGHT! Ginger thought angrily.
"Stall for time, I will come to resolve the conflict." Toriel concluded. She went and stood in front of the doorway. Petunia went and entered a FIGHT with the dummy. Petunia talked to the dummy.
"H-Hello, my name is Petunia!" Petunia stuttered.
The dummy didn't seem like much for conversation. Toriel seemed happy with her. Petunia went to Toriel. Ginger stepped up and fought the dummy. The dummy disappeared in a cloud of dust. She won, and didn't get anything.
"Ahh, the dummies are not for fighting! They are for talking! We do not want to hurt anybody, do we...? Come now." Toriel said to Ginger, then went to the next room.
Petunia followed Toriel. Ginger followed angrily.
"There is another puzzle in this room... I wonder if any of you can solve it?" Toriel continued.
Petunia smiled and quickly followed Toriel down the winding hallway. Ginger followed more slowly. Petunia entered a FIGHT with the Froggit.
"Oh, uh..." Petunia whispered.
She complemented the Froggit.
"You look nice today!" Petunia said to the Froggit.
The Froggit didn't understand what she said, but was flattered anyway. The Froggit blushed and said "Ribbit...". Then, Toriel scared the Froggit away. Petunia won and got 5 gold. She continued along the path with Toriel. Ginger entered a FIGHT with the Froggit. Ginger slashed the Froggit and killed it. Ginger won and earned 10 XP and 20 gold. Ginger's LOVE increased to LV 2. Ginger followed and read the sign.
"The western room is the eastern room's blueprint." She read out loud. She narrowed her eyes and stood next to Petunia, in front of Toriel.
"This is the puzzle, but... Here, take my hand for a moment." Toriel said, holding out her hand.
Petunia took her hand, while Ginger didn't and just followed. Toriel took both kids along the puzzle. At the end, she turned to the two children.
"Puzzles seem a little too dangerous for now." Toriel told them, and then went along to the next room.
Petunia saw that it was a very long hallway.
"You have done excellently thus far, my children. However, I have a difficult request to ask of you. ... I would like you to walk to the end of the room by yourselves. Forgive me for this." Toriel told them, running down the hallway.
When Toriel was out of sight, Petunia raced down the hallway. Ginger followed her. There was a pillar at the end of the hallway, and Petunia stopped at the end of the hallway. Ginger was beside her. Toriel came out from behind the pillar, and stood in front of them.
"Greetings, my children. Do not worry, I did not leave you. I was merely behind this pillar the whole time." Toriel told them.
Petunia smiled, while Ginger looked at Toriel angrily.
"What was the point of this?" Ginger muttered.
"Thank you for trusting me. However, there was an important reason for this exercise.... to test your independence. I must attend to some business and you must stay alone for a while." Toriel continued. "Please remain here, it is dangerous to explore by yourself. I have an idea! I will give you a cellphone. Oh, dear. I only seem to have one. My children, please decide which of you will receive it." Toriel told them.
"Can I have it?" Petunia asked Ginger.
Ginger sighed. "I don't even like her. I want to go home." Ginger muttered.
"I'll have it!" Petunia said to Toriel.
Toriel smiled. "Very well, my child. Here you go. Now, please stay here." Toriel concluded, giving Petunia the cellphone and leaving the room. When Ginger was sure that Toriel was gone, she left the room. Petunia followed hesitantly. The cellphone rang and Petunia answered it.
"Hello? This is Toriel. You have not left the room, have you? There are a few puzzles ahead that I have yet to explain. Be good, alright?" Toriel said, before hanging up.
Petunia felt bad for continuing. She saw a doorway and quickly entered it. She saw a bowl of candy with a sign that said "Take One." Petunia took a piece of Monster Candy, and put it into her pocket. Ginger came and took all four pieces of candy. The bowl toppled over and candy spilled on the floor.
"Why...?" Petunia asked quietly.
Ginger didn't respond. Petunia left the room with Ginger, and Petunia entered a FIGHT with Whimsun. Petunia wondered if she could SPARE this monster.
"I don't want to fight you." Petunia whispered.
Whimsun flew off. Petunia didn't get any XP or Gold, but she felt good letting that poor Whimsun go free. Ginger entered a FIGHT with the same Whimsun, and killed it. Ginger earned 2 XP and 2 Gold. Petunia continued, because she didn't see her sister killing everything. Ginger killed two more Whimsun, and gained 4 XP and 4 Gold. As they entered the next room, Ginger grinned. There was crumbled ground around, and there were two slots. Petunia walked over the crumbled ground, and fell down, into some red leaves. She came back up through the other side, and she went into the next room. Ginger did the same thing. They entered a room with a rock and a thin pressure plate. There was a spike trap at the back, and there was a sign on the wall. As Ginger went to read the sign, Petunia heard her cellphone ring.
"Hello, this is Toriel! For no reason in particular, which one do you prefer? Butterscotch, or Cinnamon?" Toriel asked. Petunia put Toriel on hold.
"Butterscotch or Cinnamon?" Petunia asked Ginger.
"None of the above." Ginger muttered.
Petunia put the cellphone to her ear again.
"Butterscotch, please!" Petunia replied.
"Thank you for your selection." Toriel said, and then hung up.
As Petunia moved forward, the cellphone rang again.
"Hello, this is Toriel. You do not DISLIKE Cinnamon, do you? I know what your preference is but... Would you turn up your nose if you found it on your plate?" Toriel asked.
"No, of course I wouldn't!" Petunia replied.
"Right, right, I understand. Thank you for being patient, by the way." Toriel said, and then hung up.
"Three out of four grey rocks recommend you push them." Ginger read out loud. She turned around and saw Petunia going through the deactivated spike trap. Ginger sighed and followed her. They went into the next room. As they moved along, Ginger entered a FIGHT with another Whimsun. Ginger quickly killed it. The next room had a lot of cracked floor. As Petunia stepped on one, she fell down into a room with leaves lined up in a specific order. She climbed back up. Petunia remembered where the leaves were from the bottom, and so she made it through the puzzle safely. She waited for Ginger in the next room. Ginger narrowed her eyes and followed the way her sister went. The next room had three rocks and three silver thin pressure plates. As Petunia pushed the first two rocks, Ginger did nothing. Then, when Petunia went to push the last rock, the rock talked to her. Ginger narrowed her eyes as the rock moved by itself, and then the spike trap deactivated. As Petunia began to go, the rock slid off of the pressure plate. Petunia went back to the rock, and the rock went back onto the pressure plate. Then, Ginger walked to the spike trap along with Petunia, and they went to the next room. It was a small room with a mouse hole, and a table with a slice of cheese on it. Petunia and Ginger were filled with determination. Petunia crouched down near the mouse hole. A small little brown mouse poked its head out of the hole. Petunia smiled and gently pet the mouse. The mouse was a little scared, but then crawled out of its hole.
"Come on, little guy." Petunia whispered.
The little brown mouse gently crawled into a pocket in Petunia's jeans. Petunia smiled and stood up gently. She gently pet the mouse's head. The mouse poked out its head again and smiled up at Petunia. Petunia looked at the table with cheese on it, and noticed that the cheese was stuck to the table. She continued along to the next room, along with Ginger. There was a ghost napping on some red leaves. Petunia went up and gently tapped the ghost. Petunia entered a FIGHT with Napstablook. Petunia gave Napstablook a patient smile.
"heh..." Napstablook said.
White tears started coming down, and Petunia was hit by one. 18 more HP... Petunia thought, still standing. Petunia told Napstablook a little joke.
"Um... What's white, black and red all over? A sunburned zebra!" Petunia joked.
"heh... heh..." Napstablook whispered.
Napstablook started crying again, and Petunia got hit by one again. 14 more HP... Petunia thought. She still stood. Napstablook wanted to show Petunia something.
"let me try..." Napstablook whispered. Napstablook cried upward and began to form some sort of hat. "i call it 'dapper blook'. do you like it...." Napstablook whispered.
Petunia nodded.
"oh no...." Napstablook whispered. The FIGHT stopped.
"i usually come to the RUINS because there's nobody around... but today i met someone nice... oh, i'm rambling again.... i'll get out of your way..." Napstablook whispered as he disappeared.
Petunia walked across and then went forward. Ginger saw Napstablook reappear. Ginger moved Napstablook with force, and then entered a FIGHT with him. Ginger slashed Napstablook with her stick, and did 28 DMG.
"nnnnnnggghhh." Napstablook whispered.
He cried again. Ginger swiftly moved her SOUL, and dodged everything. She slashed at him again. She did 22 DMG this time.
"just pluggin along..." Napstablook whispered.
Text floated around saying "Really Not Feeling Up To It Right Now. Sorry.". Ginger sighed and slashed Napstablook with her stick again. She did 26 DMG.
"nnnnnnggghh." Napstablook whispered.
Napstablook cried again, and Ginger dodged them all. Ginger slashed at him and did 26 DMG.
"umm.. you do know you cant kill ghosts, right? we're sorta incorporeal and all... i was just lowering my hp because i didnt want to be rude... sorry... i just made this more awkward.... pretend you beat me.... oooooo...." Napstablook said, fading away.
Ginger lost an experience point. Ginger narrowed her eyes and quickly continued to the next room, where Petunia was waiting.
"Lets go that way!" Petunia exclaimed. 15 left... Ginger thought. Petunia went forward, while Ginger went upwards. Ginger killed two Froggits, and two Whimsuns. 11 left.... She thought. Ginger's LOVE increased to LV 3. Petunia saw two cobwebs. Apparently, it was a spider bake sale. Petunia only had 7 Gold, so she bought herself a spider donut. Some spiders crawled down and gave her one. She thanked the spiders and went out of the room. Ginger continued on through the empty room. Petunia saw only a single Froggit in the room.
"Oh!" She whispered. She quickly knelt down next to the Froggit.
"My friends were killed by a human in a striped shirt... was it you?" The Froggit asked.
"No! I would never...!" Petunia whispered.
The Froggit nodded. "My name is Leap. Goodbye." Leap whispered.
Leap hopped off. Petunia followed Ginger. The cellphone rang before she could leave the room. Petunia answered.
"Hello? I just realized it has been a while since I have cleaned up. I was not expecting company so soon. There are probably things lying about here and there. You can pick them up, but do not carry more than you need. Someday you might see something you really like. You will want to leave room in your pockets for that." Toriel said, and then hung up.
Petunia continued to the next room. There were several holes.
"There is only one switch." Ginger read out loud. Ginger went down a hole. She flipped the switch, and the spike trap deactivated. Petunia went through, but Ginger went down into another hole. She found a Faded Ribbon and put it on. She came back up and followed Petunia out of the room. They went through the next room, but the room after that had a spike trap. Petunia pressed the blue switch, and the spike trap deactivated. They went into the next room. Petunia pressed the red switch, and the spike trap deactivated. They went into the next room, and Petunia pressed the green switch. They entered the next room. It was a room with two doorways, some vines on the floor, and some red leaves. They both went forward, and they found a little room, and another doorway.
"I'll go that way, you stay here and talk to the Froggit." Ginger muttered.
Petunia nodded, and talked to the Froggit.
"Oh, you're Leap, right?" Petunia asked.
The Froggit nodded and smiled. Ginger walked into the next room, and saw a Toy Knife. She quickly grabbed it and equipped it. She threw away the stick she used before. She hid the Toy Knife in her pocket and came back.
"Come on, let's go." Ginger said, exiting the room.
Petunia said goodbye to Leap, and continued on. They went through the top door. There was a room with a tree in the middle.
"Oh dear, that took longer than I thought it would." Toriel's voice sounded. Toriel came into view near the tree. Toriel picked up her cellphone and began to call Petunia, but then she saw them, and ran over.
"How did you get here, my children? Are you hurt?" Toriel asked.
Petunia nodded, while Ginger didn't respond.
"There, there. I will heal both of you." Toriel told them.
Petunia got all of her HP back. Petunia smiled at Toriel.
"Thank you." She said.
"I should not have left you both alone for so long. It was irresponsible to try to surprise you like this."
"A surprise?" Petunia asked.
"Err... Well, I suppose I cannot hide it any longer. Come, small ones!" Toriel said.
She went forward, and the two children followed her. It seemed like a small house. Petunia went in happily, but Ginger didn't follow so quickly. Ginger was next to Petunia.
"Do you smell that? Surprise! It is a Butterscotch-Cinnamon pie. I thought we might celebrate your arrival. I want you both to have a nice time living here. So I will hold off on snail pie for tonight." Toriel began.
Eww! Snails?!?!? Petunia thought.
"Here, I have another surprise for you." Toriel said, heading into the right hallway.
Petunia and Ginger followed.
"This is it..." Toriel said, taking Petunia's hand. Toriel gently moved over to a door and let go of Petunia's hand.
Ginger stood next to Petunia.
"A room of your own. I hope you both like it!" Toriel said, gently patting Petunia on the head. Toriel stopped and turned around.
"Is something burning? Um, make yourself at home!" Toriel said, before running out of the hallway.
Ginger and Petunia entered the room and saw one bed.
"You can have the bed." Ginger muttered.
Petunia gently climbed onto the bed and fell asleep. Ginger slept on the floor and fell asleep.

Ginger woke up in darkness. There was a girl with a green and yellow striped sweater in front of her.
"Umm... who are you and why am I here?" Ginger asked.
"Greetings. I am Chara." The girl said.
Ginger looked at her.
"You are here because your SOUL wants you to be here. You've started Genocide, I see. Good. We'll destroy this worthless world." Chara said, grinning.
Then, Chara disappeared.

Ginger woke up abruptly. She saw two slices of Butterscotch-Cinnamon pie. Quickly, Ginger grabbed one and went out of the house. She saw a Froggit, and entered a FIGHT. The Froggit had a small blue scarf tied around its neck. Ginger quickly killed it. The Froggit turned to dust, and the small blue scarf remained. Petunia woke up and grabbed the slice of Butterscotch-Cinnamon pie. She went outside, and saw the small blue scarf, and the small pile of dust. Petunia rushed over and knelt down beside it.
"Leap...?" Petunia whispered.
She gently grabbed the scarf and held it in both of her hands. She looked over and saw Ginger killing a Froggit. My sister's a murderer... She thought. She knew not to fight with her sister. Petunia's eyes pricked with tears, and she still held the small scarf in her hands. Petunia went over to Ginger and slapped her. Ginger just stared at her.
"9 left..." Ginger muttered, and then ran off.
Petunia just went back inside with a sad expression. Petunia went down the left hallway, and saw Toriel in her reading chair.

Diary Entry 1 Feb. 18/ 201X

Dear Diary,
Today, Sans and I went to Alphys' place to learn more about timelines. It was very interesting, and it made me hope that humans never fall down here. After that, Sans teleported off. I still wish I was able to do that, but that's okay. I went down to the Riverperson, and I went to Waterfall. I went to visit Undyne for another training lesson. I love getting a chance to practice my bone attacks, and Undyne never seems to mind letting me practice. When I got there, Undyne was already waiting. Soon, we were deep in battle. When we finished, she said I was just like Sans. I thanked her, but then she said that it was true. I smiled, and then we went into her house for some spaghetti. After that, I thanked her and headed back to the Riverperson. I went back to Snowdin and found Sans. He asked me to come with him for a moment, because Papyrus was close. When we were out of Papyrus' sight, he told me something. Something so important, that no one else could know. A human was coming through.

I'm writing this while watching Papyrus battle against the human. The human looks so full of LOVE... I don't know what to think. I just hope that the.... NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Diary,
Papyrus. He died yesterday. I can't do this anymore. Not without him. I told Sans the news this morning. He wouldn't even talk to me for three hours. Oh well, I guess. I followed that little brat to Waterfall. I made sure I wasn't seen. I saw Undyne and I ran up to her. I told her about the human, and about Papyrus, and then I ran off. She made a spear and examined the field in front of her. She made the spear disappear, and then hid in the shadows. The human slept in the field for the night. I stayed awake.
