"Alright!" Roark said with a nod. "As you probably know, I train Pokémon of the Rock type. Thus, my first choice will be..." He lifted a PokéBall into the air and tossed it. "Cranidos!!"

"Skarmory, use Twister!" Ferris instructed. Skarmory nodded and used the Dragon-type move.
(Edit: I know Roark didn't act, but I posted so Green can react. I will post Roark's action next.)

"Cranidos, use Head Smash!" Roark commanded. His partner was cloaked in a veil of blue light, and smashed straight into Skarmory, knocking the avian Pokémon back. Cranidos was also knocked back slightly, and crackled with blue electricity in the aftermath.

Cranidos shielded herself from the Twister attack.
"Skarmory, Twister once more!!"
"Cranidos, Flamethrower!!"
The two attacks collided - one a deep blue vortex, the other a bright orange beam - and exploded, the force knocking both Pokémon out, though Skarmory appeared to have worse wounds. Ferris was worried, and decided to go to the Pokémon Center immediately.
