"We were just attacked by a Zoroark," Ferris said. "We were basically trapped in an elaborate illusion based on various movies and then attacked. It seemed like a Shadow Pokémon like the ones Cipher made, because it was using moves such as Shadow Rush, but that was probably an illusion as well, as I don't think Cipher still exists."

The four Pokémon obeyed the police officers without hesitation; Ninetales and Arcanine targeted Wobbuffet immediately, as the use of one Physical move and one Special would prevent it from countering them both, while Houndoom and Manectric aimed at Cacturne.

(this is because acranine would have been closer if we were doing the anime version)
a vacuum activates on the balloon and sucks up the cop's pokemon into a special box*
James: take that for interrupting us and now we have a special weapon now cacturne use pin missile!
*cacturne release a barrage of missiles at the cops*

(If we were doing the anime version, then Wobbuffet wouldn't take damage and the Fire Blast would still be a Fire-type move, so Flash Fire would activate.)

"Skarmory, use Air Slash on the balloon!!" Ferris instructed as he sent Skarmory out.
