Burmy was quite slow to use Hidden Power, and only hit Pinsir the instant before being hit with Fury Cutter. It was super effective - Rock, it seemed - and did a moderate amount of damage. Unfortunately, Fury Cutter did a ton of damage despite being one of the weakest moves ever the first time it is used.

(Thanks! ^^ It is still a work in progress, unfortunately, as you can tell by the lack of arms and the fact that I just completely erased the scales so I can redo them.)

"Burmy, use Hidden Power right away, as quickly as you can, before it can attack!!" Ferris commanded. Burmy did so, and though it was weaker than before because Burmy was rushing, it hit almost immediately.

(I don't think they should be compared anyway. Mine is pixel art, and yours is drawn art. Mine is of a slightly more complicated creature, so it looks more detailed even though I haven't shaded it or animated it (which I hope to do).)

"Eep! Burmy, are you alright?!" Ferris yelped. Burmy was extremely close to fainting.
