(Could you possibly try to slow down and include more details on your actions? The fact that your Monferno evolved without your mention of anything about it, and that you caught and evolved an Abra without mentioning it, means that Ferris will constantly be WAY too far behind you if you keep going at this pace. ^^')

(I hadn't said I was going to land; first of all, Skarmory is technically my character, and I would be the one to dictate when it landed and what happened in the air. Secondly, you need to say what you're doing. You never even mentioned Chimchar evolving, or catching OR evolving an Abra, so sending them out doesn't make any sense. ^^')

"Yes," Ferris confirmed. "However, I only just started. I have two Pokémon. Would you be willing to battle me so I can train to face the Oreburgh Gym?"

(Before we continue, I would like this to be settled, so I will not be posting anything until we finish sorting this out.
In-game, you are not SUPPOSED to know what your Rival is doing.
In RPs, you HAVE to know what the other characters are doing, because THEY HAVE TO POST IT. RP stands for role-play. You are playing the role of a character. You have to say ALL of their actions, not just mention a few of them and act like they're some NPC. It's even worse when said character is one of only two main characters.

How in the WORLD did you WALK to Oreburgh City AND do a TON of stuff in the time it took me to FLY there, which should logically have taken almost no time AT ALL in comparison? That's not logic; it's insanity.

Furthermore, you controlled MY Skarmory. That's not how RPs work; my Pokémon is my character and mine to control.

Does this make more sense?)

(sorry for controlling your bird but that were it can get confusing it is possible for me to swim and walk there because of air resistance and such while flying so we cant really tell who could get there first. but i was trying to make it fair since i knew you were gonna have skarmory fly to oreburg that why i did that because it was to make it seem more fair :) and i will be waiting in jublife so i am not gonna go anywhere for a while and i see what your saying too)

(It's perfectly fair to have me get there first, because I can train when I get there on the wild Pokémon around Oreburgh City and you can train on the way. We get the same amount of training, but on different Pokémon and with different opportunities to catch Pokémon. If you're going to say you trained on the way, you have to actually train on the way. Thank you, however, for waiting.)

(then there is still the problem that i have stronger pokemon even from the begining because you decoide to fly we dont know mow many pokemon i could have faced but lets get back to the rp before we forget where we were)*geodude uses defense curl*(every geodude uses this at least once before dying XD)

(Actually, I would arrive before you got too far ahead in training, and then I'd come close-ish to catching up by the time you reached Oreburgh. However, yes, let's continue.)

"Piplup, what moves do you know?" Ferris wondered aloud. He checked his Pokédex to find that Piplup knew Growl, Pound, Scald, and Signal Beam. "This could work!! Piplup, try Scald!"
Piplup nodded, and the lighter blue marks on his body shone brightly. Red flurries of light rose around him, and collected in the form of a ball in front of him, from which a large amount of water shot when Piplup opened his mouth. The doubly super-effective move hit its mark with an explosion of steam and several scalding-hot drops of water.

(I think a few years later works. ^^ We can find Dialga and Palkia in the same way as in Platinum, and Giratina and Heatran in the same way as in Diamond and Pearl, so that there's no confusion as to why we'd be meeting Team Galactic. Azelf, Uxie, and Mesprit could probably just wait until after beating the Pokémon League instead of after beating Team Galactic.)

"Piplup, are you okay?!" Ferris asked when Rock Throw hit his Pokémon. He ran over to Piplup, who quickly got back onto his feet and glared at Onix.
The Pokédex beeped. Piplup is at critically low health. Another beep. Piplup's Special Ability, Torrent, has activated. While at low health, Piplup's Water-type attacks will increase dramatically in power.
"Awesome, Piplup!!" Ferris said excitedly. "Please use Scald again!"
