(Wait, what? That doesn't make sense... Piplup got away from the tunnels, and I would have noticed far enough in advance to get Piplup to get away from the cracks. You also can't say "Ferris notices..." because that's godmodding.)

(actually due to the extreme heat from the full power ember eruption the ground started to get thinner and then collepsed onitself so piplup couldnt avoid it....that when monferno had the advantage)

"Ravaged Path, not Ragged Path, and it's quite short," Ferris said. "There are a few boulders in the way, but those can be easily destroyed by most Pokémon, so I don't think we have to worry."
