(yanmega had 1 hp left because due to my research even a leer and head smash compared to its defense there is a 87% chance yanmega would survive)

Yeah, I use damage calculators to prove stuff in RPs quite often, so I probably should have checked that before I said it would faint. XD)

it hits mine jr and it faint due to the major lower defense* james: AHHHHHHH(well you got to take into account the iv and ev the pokemon could get from the battles)

The light emitted by Onix was pulled back into it, and suddenly shot out in an explosion just small enough to avoid hitting the humans, but still large enough to hit Piplup. Onix itself was returned to its PokéBall automatically during this process, entirely unconscious.

When the explosion cleared, Piplup was almost unconscious... but just barely still standing.
Onix, on the other hand, had fainted.
