I started to play when i was 16 years old back in 1999, Pokemon Red was my first game. I never gave up on Pokemon during all the years. No breaks, even when Pokemon wasn't "cool" anymore for most of the people i didn't quit. Beside playing the games i started collecting the trading cards and various merchandise. Until today i'am a collector of rare merch like 1999 metal or shiny kids figures (japanese pokemon lottery). Pokemon means so much more to me, it's not only about playing the games....i made friends from all over the world, got great inspiration for fanarts and like to exchange ideas about collecting. I still have all the games, including the japanese midori edition, my old gameboys, will never part with them and the lovely memories...

I also will keep all my trading cards, some people force me to sell them, because prices for rare japanese 1999 promocards skyrocket but they are special to me, most people don't understand : / i will keep on collecting and being a faithful fan, no matter what age^^.

ohhh, hello!!

I am 24 and a early Pokemon fan from 1998 when Yellow came out, having been introduced by my older brother, though I didn't get really into it until Diamond. Really, I didn't play much other than the main games, but the Mystery Dungeon games were some of my favorites and they still are! PokePark and Rumble are a close second! So far there hasn't been a Pokemon game I've played and not liked.
I just adore the franchise to bits~

To the point that I've spent well over $200 on plush toys and movies. cx
and 984k hours on this site... ;w;

The show isn't something I've enjoyed since after the Sinnoh region, but dang do the movies still tug on my heart strings. I still cry during most of them despite having seen all of them at least twice.

Also ye.
I'd join that fan club. ovo

Ahhh, Snap. Yes. I'm still playing it these days. Trying to get the perfect pictures (Mew and all the hidden Pikas!) still gives me something I can't really describe. I'd really love if they would make another Snap. uwu

I was 14 when Pokemon Red/Blue first came out and I'm well over 20 now. yupyup.

I'm also in the crew waiting for a Snap 2. I loved taking the photos and trying to figure out all the tricks to getting the various pokemon! And with so many MORE Pokemon out there now, it would really be fascinating to see them in their home territory. -.n

Unfortunately, unless someone from a different company decides to make it, Snap 2 won't happen, because Snap 1 was from a different company than just Gamefreaks and Nintendo. :(

Awww, lovely thread! I was only 7 when I got my first Pokémon game (Yellow). Those memories... Me and my friends from school were playing all day. Pokémon was a huge part of my childhood, I learned so much from the games, especially from the first two generations. I'm 22 now, and I still play Pokémon. I'm not as crazy about it as I used to be, but I still like it and I think I will always like it. :D
