"Let's march Team Equinox!" Luna announced, floating her way off
with her team following close behind, "And Team Solstice move out
as well!" She tried to give her best authority impression, heading
towards Dragon's Gate under the shimmering sunlight and calming
spring breeze.
Luna gave a stern nod, with her satchel ready and the world open to
explore. She led along side CarpetMonster through the air, the dirt
path below them helping to serve as a guide. She levitated her map
before her face, humming and following the directions, often
looking to CarpetMonster to assure her directions were correct.
((Do do do~ speeding things up because I'm impatient~ fa la
la~))
Eventually a mist started to come over them, water that splashed
from a nearby waterfall traveled in the air, giving a cooling
refresher in the heat. A pleasing waterfall came into view, pouring
into a pond where the water flowed into a cave hiding behind the
waterfall. The area held various plant life and much water, but no
sight of Magikarp could be seen.
"Guess we should investigate," Luna nodded, "who's prepared to get
a little wet?"
"I am!" CarpetMonster said cheerfully. "I hope the water is cold!"
He was somehow blissfully unaware of the fact that he was probably
the only one in the group who liked the cold.
Luna sighed a bit, not one to enjoy water in the slightest, but put
on her bravest face and placed her satchel on top of her head,
"Okay Pumpkaboo, we go in, get the Magikarp and help him home."
Shutting her eyes, Luna quickly broke through the waterfall and
into the cave, her body always drenched. She shook off her fur in
fertile attempts with the ceiling leaking. The ground held a wide
river, easy enough for a Magikarp to swim through, "He probably
went this way."
"Extremely," she grumbled as she shivered and sighed, "but I
suppose it's all apart of the job." Luna chuckled, still trying to
shake out her fur and drain out the water that got inside of her
hallow body. "Just make sure my light doesn't go out." She warned,
trying to laugh off her worries.
Demon Shade was left behind by how quickly everyone moved forward.
Rushing to try and catch up, he wound up lost along the way.
Suddenly a mist washed over him with no known cause, causing a very
limited field of vision. Was he near the rest of the guild, or was
he completely and hopelessly lost because of getting left behind?
He couldn't be sure as he ruffled his ghostly feathers before
crashing into a body of really cold water.
"No no no!" he panted as he fluttered quickly to try and get out of
the cold. He did not need to get soaked and lose his plastic blue
pumpkin. That was the only pumpkin he felt comfortable with, and if
he lost it he would lose all of his physical possessions, including
the badge that he had just so recently obtained.
He got free after a few moments of struggling, flying to what he
figured was a dry patch, and flomped down on it, stretching out
while laying on his stomach. The orange stripe along the back of
his pumpkin was about the only easily seen thing in this haze
around him, and he was tired from trying to catch up and his
flailing about. He closed his eyes, too tired to fight and keep
them open anymore. He just hoped he wouldn't get more lost and left
behind before the rest of the guilds realized that their newest
member wasn't with them since the beginning of the travelling.
Luna giggled seeing Muffin absorb some of the water from the fall,
"Well, looks like you will be a large sized Pumpkaboo for this
mission." She laughed, "I'm sure when we get some sunlight on you,
you'll be good as new." Luna gave a full body pat on Muffin,
feeling her squishy sponge like fur.
"So, guess we should wait here a bit for everyone else." Luna
sighed, opening up her satchel to double and triple check her
supplies, seeing there was a good amount of berries just in case
any wild Pokemon were going to get restless or upset. "We have to
remember we are invading the home of many water Pokemon, we should
be on our toes."
(Of course stuff happens when I leave :'D)
Tina followed suit and jumped through the waterfall, slightly
shocked at the feel of the cold water against her body. "I think he
got lost along the way! Maybe a few of us should go back to look
for him. I'd gladly go if someone were to go with me," Tina said
with enthusiasm.
