Note to all who plan on registering: Please just use your browser's search feature to find out what your Ability matches. If you need help finding a particular effect, just tell me, and I will gladly point you towards the Special Trait in question, or at least whatever has the closest effect to what you want.

Welcome to the Toy Shop, a place where all kinds of Pokémon wind-up toys are sold to loving customers... and, in addition, a place where all kinds of Pokémon wind-up toys come to life with the power of the Wonder Key!

RULES:

The rules are hidden so that it is easier to scroll down.
Show hidden content
1 - All site rules apply.
2 - Please do not curse at any time during this RP.
3 - Please put parentheses (single or double) around everything that is not part of the RP itself. This post is an exception.
4 - Please do not double-post at any time.
5 - Do not, under any circumstances, control another player's character.
6 - There can only be one Pokémon per species. Additionally, each player may have no more than two characters (one per person is preferred). Note that the number of characters I use will not be limited, because I will need to use certain Pokémon to push the plot forward. To keep things fair, I will only use each of these Pokémon for a few posts each (just enough for them to play their role in the plot, and then leave), and they will not be considered registered characters. You may not enter as Diancie, Hoopa, or Volcanion, for reasons that will be made clear later.
7 - If you're going to have someone infer what your character is doing instead of outright saying it, please at least give all of the information needed to make said inference.
8 - If you resubmit a rejected form without correcting whatever caused it to be rejected to begin with, it will be rejected again AND you will not be approved at any point in the future.
9 - Toy Pokémon cannot evolve, and there are no items in this, so Mega Pokémon are considered separate species. As such, you are allowed to register one if you so choose. The move sets of Mega Pokémon are considered the same as their normal counterparts.
10 - Everyone starts with 10,000. However, you may use some of this money to purchase a Special Trait other than the ones that you could ordinarily choose from. As a result, you may begin the RP with less money.
11 - I may add more rules at any time. If I do, I will post about it; you are obligated to read all additions and modifications at that time, and will be held responsible for any actions that break any rules after the time of the post.

WORLD MAP:

The map has yet to be added. This will be rectified soon.

Each town has a Super Battle Royale and two Battles Royale, except Champion Town, which only contains the final Battle Royale.
Vernal Town also has the following areas:
Meadow

Lake
Aestival Town also has the following areas:
Treetops

Autumnal Town also has the following areas:

Tower
Hauntyard
Hibernal Town also has the following areas:

STORY:

Toy Pokémon are special wind-up toys brought to life with the power of the Wonder Key. Ordinarily, Wonder Keys are created in the Toy Shop, the place at which all Toy Pokémon are sold. However, recently, a Legendary Pokémon that resides in the Canyon Area began to forge a special Wonder Key. This Wonder Key is said to increase the power of the Pokémon to which it gives life by incredible amounts.
A few days ago, this Legendary Pokémon completed the Wonder Key, and announced a special competition: all Pokémon that win all four Super Battle Royales within one month of the start of the competition will be allowed to enter a special Battle Royale. The winner will receive the Wonder Key on which the Legendary Pokémon was working for all of this time. However, the task will not be easy: the Rival Pokémon in each Super Battle Royale is a Legendary Pokémon, and the creator of the Wonder Key himself is the Rival Pokémon of the final tournament!

Speed: (out of 5; must add to Attack and Defense to make no more than 10)
Special Trait:
When choosing your Special Trait, you may use any of the ones that match your Pokémon's Abilities. Alternatively, you may pay some of your starting to use a different Special Trait. See the last hide tab in this post to use
(one of the ones that matches your Pokémon's Abilities for free, or one of the other Special Traits for the price stated in the hide tab at the bottom of the page. You may also spend the low price of 1,000 to receive a completely random Special Trait, but this is risky because it cannot be changed later.)

SPECIAL TRAITS:

In this RP, rather than being completely random, Special Traits coincide directly with Abilities. For example, a Sylveon could have either the Special Trait for Cute Charm or the Special Trait for Pixilate. (In this case, the Special Traits to choose from would be Superstar and Fairy Boost.) Special Traits are decided when one submits his or her form, and cannot be changed at all.
In addition, some Special Traits are new to this RP, despite not existing in the official Pokémon Rumble games.
Here is a list of all Abilities and the Special Traits that they are associated with:

Joe, accepted! ^^ I won't add you yet in case you change your form, but for now, you're in! ^^
ForestTrain, 5 + 10 + 7 is 22, which is greater than 10. Also, Timburr cannot have Limber. It can have Guts, Sheer Force, or Iron Fist. Please adjust this so you can be added! (Lastly, does Knock Back mean Knock Off, or something else?)

Dialkia, there are a number of problems with that.
First of all, Lungi Dance and Earthquake Dance are not real moves.
Secondly, Physic Dance is not a real Pokémon.
Thirdly, Dancer is not a real trait.
Sorry, but your form is rejected.

I know that I already posted a day ago, but this is an important announcement that will probably not be noticed otherwise. Sorry!

For St. Patrick's Day, if you join or edit your form today, you can get the Special Trait Lucky for free!

Also, I'm currently working on finishing up the plot. I'll make the map afterwards, and then the prices for special traits, and then give an extra 24 hour period for anyone to make final edits to their forms, and then we can start!

I am SO sorry! I completely forgot about this! >.< I have just finished the plot, now that I remembered to do so, and the RP can start whenever everyone is ready. (When I finish adding the prices, you will be able to change your Special Trait, because I don't want to keep everyone waiting any longer than I already have.)

Just as a note to everyone: My Zygarde is NOT the Legendary Pokémon mentioned, and will be participating in the challenge like everyone else. The Legendary Pokémon will, however, be controlled by me once his species is revealed.
As an additional note, I am about to update the rules slightly.
Edit: Okay! Rule 6 has been updated.

4 + 3 + 5 is 12, which is greater than 10. I also explained what a Special Trait is in great detail in the first post. Thus, your form has been rejected once again.
Fortunately for you, you did not make the same mistakes as before, so this does not meet the conditions described in Rule 8 to permanently ban you from entering the RP and you are allowed to post another form if you so choose.

Yes, they can have any special trait. ^^ It will cost you some from the 10,000 with which you start, though, so when I determine the prices, I'll double-check with you to make sure the price is okay, and if it isn't, you can choose to change it to Oshawott's normal Special Trait if you'd prefer that. ^^
Anyway, accepted! I will add you (and every other member) momentarily! ^^

Yes, it's fine to have it based on the Hidden Ability. ^^
You have been accepted!
The randomly selected Special Trait was Picky. Normally, I don't allow people to have me rerandomize the trait at all, but I didn't plan in advance for Picky (or Shapeshifting, for that matter), so I will ask you this: Would you like to keep Picky and only have one of your two moves for Joltik, or should I rerandomize it (which will not cost you an additional fee)?

Considering Joltik's moveset, being Picky will make it much harder to keep it from fainting often. I'd prefer to have it re-randomized for this one reason. Thank you for this opportunity.
