Nathana, far from trusting him, stood up and took off deeper into the woods. Okay, that was so not creepy at all... I'll make a better entrance another time... For now... Just getting away is what I want to do. She thought to herself as she leapt over fallen trees and dodged branches.

Charlie put her bow on her back along with the arrows he found. "Were you on the ship, too?" She yelled out, to whoever was hiding. She put her hand on the hatchet, just in case.

Nathana made it into a clearing before she stopped to check behind her. Well, they don't seem to be following me... Though I'm probably being a bit paranoid... She pulled out her botany book as she spotted a berry bush nearby. I should probably eat something... And find water...

A loud noises sounded off and soon a large panther came out and jumped forward.
"Woah! Be careful." Ricky said rolling out the way and bringing out his katana.

Charlie jumped back, quickly grabbing her bow and arrow. She started to aim for the panther, she released the first arrow, hitting it's back right leg. She then rolled away, getting further distance between her and the panther.

"Hey, you okay?" She yelled out at the boy, as she released another arrow, hitting the panther in the side of the head, killing it. She let out a sigh, running over to him.

Nathana heard the loud roar of the panther and then the yell of the boy. What is going on out there!? She decided to start back towards the beach, putting the book back in her pocket. Perhaps this is the way I gain their trust? She thinks as she emerges from the trees.

Charlie quickly grabbed his wrist, "Hold on, I got you," she exclaimed, trying to pull him up. He's a bit heavier then I thought he would be, can I even do this by myself?

Charlie looked at the girl. No time for questions, pull! She then used all the strength she had to help pull the boy out. She let out a gasp as she fell backwards, as he came flying out of the hole.

Nathana pulled as hard as she could and fell over and rolled out of the way so he wouldn't land on top of her. I guess they know I'm here now...
